needs more kanji instructions
I am stuck on one of the first write it because I don't know how to make one kanji. Would be nice to have explination instead of just showing correct kanji

this app helps you learn by using animated scenes with real world situations. The dialogue is is accompanied by a native language with the Japanese phrase. It is a very helpful app
Doesn't work
The sample lesson is good, so I purchased one of the others. Keep getting "check your internet connection". For days. Have shut down iPad. Reloaded app, even deleted and reinstalled. I just can't get that lesson to load. Same message every time and I can use every other thing on my iPad,so I know it's not my connection.
Disappointing. Will be claiming my money back.

I have the Chinese, French, and Japanese versions. Only downside is that it sometimes marks your answers as wrong in the writing section even if they are correct. I've been studying French for 13 years and chose the French version to keep my skills sharp while away from other French speakers. That is why I know. I contacted the creators so that this issue will be fixed.

Almost Perfect
GREAT resource for conversational Japanese and listening comprehension. Urgently needs a global option to turn off all romaji, though. That would make this a world class, serious learning tool.

This is a great interactive way to learn. Just a few things that need to be updated - the 'now you write it' part doesn't seem to work when I write the English version of the phrase (I can't write in Japanese on an English keyboard). Also, it would be handy to know which parts I need to complete. For instance if I am 70% complete in one topic it should tell me which 30% I need to work on. Other than that its a fantastic app!

I am removing the program as it opened asked my native language I answered English and screen went blank except a small scribble in the middle, also will not go landscape view. Either new or old version.

Nothing in the app that's useful
This app is just a spammed up advertisement for their fully paid version. There is nothing useful you can do with it. The ideas look good but since most of the one example doesn't work then you're taking a big risk upgrading since you don't know of the real app will work or not.
