User reviews

Horrible

If anyone knows basic Japanese then they will know by the samples themselves that they are not even written correctly in romanji. Hello is 「こんにちは」"Kon'nichiwa " not what it shows you in the sample of this app "konnnitiha" I do not recommend this app. I download this app just so you as the customers, can not waste your time with this app and trying to remember the incorrect romanji and trying to pronounce them incorrectly with the wrong romanji.

Not Accurate

Lots of mistakes and bad pronunciations. Poorly made.

Not accurate

Going through the cards, I noticed the first greetings was correct, then while going through the eating cards, they are not correct. The pronunciation is a bit off as well. The colors is also not correct. If anyone who does not speak Japanese was trying to use this, they would be confused and incorrect. I am a Japanese speaker reviewing for my daughter's use.

Horichan

Very useful app, especially when I worked out how to put the English word on the first side of the card. Some of the pronunciations do not seem quite to match the text but that may be a subtlety.

Sounds terrible

Looks like a nice app. But the sound is terrible. With headphones it is so dangerously loud without being able to control it. Turned up sound for iPhone speakers. Sounds like a computer generated voice. Hard to learn like this. The voice is bad.
