So cute but...
Font is too small. Also it does not quiz you (at least the free version).
It's fun
I love this game it's so cute
Love it, love it, love it!
Amongst all the other apps that concentrate on hiragana, here is one that has both kana, and heaps of vocab topics apart from your usual colours, animals, etc. Tic Tic pronounces the word and then listens to you and sometimes, depending on the word, reacts. The word is written in both kana and, if applicable, kanji. You can even put in your own words! My son and I even discovered that if you touch various parts of her body, she reacts as well. Besides, she is very かわいい!

Good try, not everything works
Nice try, kids love it. But: not all items respond correctly: they will either respond to anything, or not at all. The avatar girl listens only for a couple of seconds, it would be ok, if there was confidence that the app recognizes the input correctly. Otherwise it takes several wasted attempts to realise that the input is not recognized anyway.

Cute, but some errors
Very cute app. My almost 2 year old likes to click on Tic Tic and make her giggle or wave. I would just recommend the app makers double check the words- I have already seen some errors (鼻 is written for flower- same sound, but wrong kanji). I'm kind of bummed I paid $3 for all the words when there are errors! Needs to be fixed. I'd recommend the free version though...
