Like the idea, but the sound doesn’t work
The freehand writing feature was nice though. However, I deleted the app because it wasn’t a solid trial. (I worry about it not working even when I invest.)

Hello and thank you for your feedback! 1) For pronunciation of content you’ll need internet for the best tone and if there is no internet there may be a slightly lower quality of pronunciation as the AI model offline is not as good. Please note you’ll need the sound setting in the app and on your device to be on. 2) the speaking section is currently in beta and will soon be drastically improved. To use the speaking section you’ll need to offer microphone permissions and also turn on your sounds on the device. Thank you again for your feedback

Thanks for the feedback! Creating content and the app isn’t free and for us to continue building better things we decided on a business model around subscriptions. In just December this year you’ll see three app updates. Lots more to come soon with AI abilities improving.
Can’t hear super low volume

Thank you for the feedback! This has been fixed in the latest release with a sound button located on the Home Screen. Pronunciation has also been improved.
I can’t download the alphabet

Hello, thank you for your review. Upon tapping Print / Download, you should see a bottom sheet view, similar to when you share things such as images. There you should see at least two options: Copy or Save to Files. The simplest is to tap copy and then paste this file in Mail or Messages. If you happen to be near a wireless printer then you should see the Print option and it should print as a PDF. Thanks!

Cancelling my subscription

Hello, thank you for your feedback. We monitor support frequently but haven’t seen a report of a crash. We’re a small team and value our community of users. Please send us an email at learnkoreanfastapp@gmail.com and we will be sure to respond asap. We also haven’t seen any crashes upon launch. The most recent bug is in the Matching section of Flashcards and that will be out in a few days along with the new Speaking section. We hope you’ll check out the app for its new updates soon and I apologize if anything went wrong along the way.

Hey, thanks for your honest review! We thought hard about monetization models and we chose not to do ads because they distract from the learning experience which led us to subscriptions. While there are other free learning solutions out there, and I do recommend some of them, we built this from scratch and are well inline to other paid solutions. Our goals here are to use newer technologies as they come out which differ from apps that teach many languages at once with the same general structure — this is more focused and we have goals on learning actually what you’ll use day to day, especially for those just starting out. As you may see from the newest update, we are actively building new features and we regularly read feedback. At the same time we aren’t able to effectively continue building without a revenue stream. That said, if you reach out to us from the in app contact us forum and provide a way to get in touch with you, we might be able to do something for you. Thanks for giving us a try!

Hey Cayla, we haven’t seen this broadly can you share more? We monitor crashes but this seems like it’s working and there is a loading issue. We did make an update recently to allow the apps to get new content and I’m wondering if something went wrong. What device are you using and if you have a screenshot that would really help. Hi Neji, Thanks for your review! We’re actively working on the learning section with a lot more coming soon (probably a few weeks timeframe). In the meantime, just yesterday we updated the flashcard sets to provide a lot more learning options and will have more updates to that section in a few days.

um
1. despite the fact that my sound is enabled i cannot hear anything
2. the writing for the multiple choice questions is not visible
3. even if i correctly write the character the app marks it as incorrect.
i would really enjoy if you could fix these bugs as i really want to learn the language. thank you for your time :)

Hello! Thank you for your feedback. We’ve fixed the Dark Mode issue in the latest app release. For drawing recognition we built an ML model that we’re looking to improve so thank you for bringing this up. It’s pretty accurate for most characters but not precise enough for all of them at this point.
