To learn an obscure language has been a life long dream of man and I would like to thank all of the creators of this app for helping me reach this crucial life milestone. I cannot believe how much I have learned and grown as a person. I have laughed, rejoiced, and wept (all in Manx), and I am eternally grateful for everything this app has done for me. HELLO?? WHERE HAS MANX BEEN ALL MY LIFE????? Thanks to this beautiful app I am able to impress all my friends with my knowledge of Manx, and have shown them the app so that they too could learn ☺️. I don’t know where my LIFE would be without Manx, it got me so interested in the culture of the gorgeous Isle of Man, and I JUST LOVE IT. Voice record doesn't work
Thanks for making this app! But the voice record function doesn't work. I press the microphone icon and the top of the screen flashes red for a second and nothing else happens.

Excellent app for learning Manx
This is a great way of learning Manx. The system is logical, easy to use and provides an excellent introduction to the language. The material is perfect to really start speaking Manx and get to grips with the language and how it works. Brilliant job! :)

Yindyssagh! Wonderful! At last, I'm learning Manx - and this is the way to do it.
The App provides short lessons - never so much that you're overwhelmed - where you learn by example. Being 'conversational', they are meaningful and easy to follow. There's a little vocabulary to learn with each 'lesson'. You pick the grammar up as you go along - just as you did when you acquired your first language as an infant. There are opportunities to listen, then record and playback to compare and perfect your pronunciation. This works for vocabulary and phrases as well as for 'conversational' question and answer sessions that allow you to test your understanding. Animated 'Speech Bubble' conversations give you the opportunity to follow longer dialogues.
Perfect bite sized learning in 10 minute sessions. So easy to pick up and put down when ever you have a spare moment.
And, for me, it really works. If only this had been the way I was taught French (many years ago) at school - I failed miserably then.
It's nearly 40 years since I bought a copy of First Lessons in Manx (price 37 1/2 p from the Lexicon) and finally, thanks to the MNH Learn Manx App, I'm making progress!
So, go on..., download it now. Get learning and have fun on the way.
