This app is aimed at giving complete beginners an achievable goal of learning 250 useful, everyday words so they can get started in a language and be motivated to learn more. The words, which are all pronounced by native speakers, are spread across nine topics including First Words, Colours, Numbers, Food, Phrases, Body, Shopping, Countries and Time. This word list is not inexhaustible and nor do we expect it to be.
