I really love this app (as a beginner) breaks code down into bit size topics. Just what you need when you’re learning Python.
great idea, sub par execution.
compiler doesnt work, and you’d think functionality in the practice tests would be more verbose than just submit answer or exit test.

This is probably the only app you’ll ever have to buy if you want to be a developer. After this you’ll be able to create advanced code for any topic.
Testing section not working
I do like this app, but the entire section on testing has not worked at all for me since getting it. I have redownloaded and tried to use the support button which also has not worked. I would definitely change the rating if they could fix the testing section and support button.
A great resource for the curious mind
The content is concise and I quickly get an idea of the syntax and concepts. One improvement I’d like to see is the ability to zoom in on console screenshots as I don’t always have a computer handy to test when reading.

I really enjoy this app, the compiler keeps loading and won’t execute the Python though which is a little disappointing, so I won’t be able to actually practice on my phone.
Is PythonPad PRO really PRO?
I bought PythonPad Pro so I can use all the features available to me. I like how the application offers a bunch of languages to choose from if you decide you want to learn more than one programming language. I took away 1 ⭐️because I was trying to do an input command function in Python & it wouldn’t let me input a response. It just showed my input question & that was all.
If a user paid to have full software capabilities on an application, please make sure that it’s fully complete with user response interaction and not just showing the question/answer to the code they inputted into the compiler.

Terminal
Where is the terminal so I can install additional libraries?

Even after I purchased pro ads still pop up in the compiler. You should not have to wait to compile. An add will pop up every time

May be used as a reminder of basic syntax and an overview of library capabilities. Certainly not as a substitute for the docs or how the libraries actually operate / does.
examples are not well thought through.
For instance, to demonstrate dataframe functions (e.g. apply and pipe) they generate a 5x3 df array of *random* numbers and show an example piece of code and its output..... Well there's no saying what the code does given the input is random (and they dont show that input random table). They could have typed just a few more characters so we can see what the input df was, or display the random input table...
Looks to me like this was never re-read by its authors with the questions: can one make sense of this without having to guess (ain't that the point?)
bottom line: lazy writing = waste of reader's time.
It's a lot of content, but lacking in clarity.

Useful materials but with fatal problem
Good content regarding to the programming
However, as mentioned in the app, Python has a unique way of creating blocks, not with specific symbols, but with indentation
All indentations in the code are not properly displayed in this app and that is a fatal problem
For beginners, they can not even study it
And with the complexity of the program goes up, even for those have some understanding of Python can’t read the program in this app

Best ever app for python object oriented pro than 40 years this is really a terrific app
This is a terrific app to learn python especially object oriented programming I’ve been programming since 1980 starting with the Texas TI 99 for a 16 that microcomputer using TI basic I took only one semester of Fortran in the fall of 1971 .
Best Educational Python App on IOS
The only problem I see is that the app needs more content and more programs. Other than that this app is perfect for anyone trying to learn Python.

Compiler not executing codes as intended
Hi!! I just bought this app and realized the compiler doesn’t execute codes as intended. Can this be improved else I need a refund.

Sorry for the inconvenience. We are already working on a big update of this app. Fixing a lot of bug and adding many cool new features. We will push the new update very soon. Stay tuned.
Great content
Love the app. A lot of work and thought have been put into this app. Love how many articles are concise and to the point, while remaining clear enough.
Some areas of improvement:
* code could display better. On small screens, it’s not easy to read
* the title of the app on the home screen reads « learn_python » don’t know if it’s by design.
* compiler a bit slow. I suspect that the compiling isn’t local but uploaded.
