Incomplete App, Will Not Teach You
I’m not going to give the app 1 star because the presentation is very nice, and it’s obvious they’ve worked very hard on it. Unfortunately, the app is incomplete. There are no real lessons on learning how to use Ruby, it’s mostly just short blurbs describing concepts without actually teach you the language and how to use it. Each “lesson” presented is timed at 1 minute or less. It would be impossible to teach someone how to program in that short amount of time. The app only costs $2, but it’s not even worth that price since it doesn’t do what it’s advertising: actually teach Ruby.
