Do not upgrade!!!

I recently started using this app, I have had it for a while but I have only used it a few times. After I had used it several times I saw the upgrade information which indicated that more off line information would be available and no adds. Big mistake ! you get nothing for the upgrade price and they do not answer emails. So use the app if you did not pay for it but do not upgrade.

No longer works on my phone.

My iPhone says this needs to be updated to work with iOS 11.

Fastest Spanish Language Tool

This learning tool is the fastest way to learn Spanish because it forces us to think Spanish, not English. The problem with translators is that we think in English and then Spanish or Spanish and then English. Either way, the translator approach to learning disrupts the ultimate goal which is to think in Spanish and thereby to respond instantaneously as our mind omits the translation step. Now, on another point, we don't need immediate feedback of the correct response because in our next trial they reduce the number of options so that the correct response becomes more obvious. This is an ingenious learning tool and the originators have proven their teaching expertise and original approach to learning.

Good Drill

Straightforward app. Great that you can turn timed games on or off.

Just love the challenge

All Spanish. You are forced to learn or lose. My kind of study.

Helpful

Excellent practice use it daily as drill to help me memorize.

Excellent flash card program

The photos and verbalized words work excellently together to help me hear the words clearly and get used to FEELING the sound of the word (rather than my usual mode of wanting to see the word spelled out). This is really helping me learn a decent basic vocabulary AND become a better listener of Spanish.

Great app

I love this app for learning words but it would be even better to reinforce words if there was an option for the other direction (one image and multiple words to pick from, or better yet having to write the word). Very good for what it is.

Ok For Knowing SPANISH.

I enjoy this app for learning, however, for newbies would be a little confusing.

I agree with others who say that some of the pictures are confusing. Ok, if you had enough time. By the time you figure out what you believe is the correct answer time is up. However, again it's good you can begin again. That helps the words to stay in memory. 4 stars ✨ for now. Maybe be later as I get to know the app better I'll rate it 5 star ⭐️'s.

Needs improvement

This app is awesome for reinforcing your Spanish and making you connect words with actions which is excellent. However if you do not know a word, it doesn't tell you the definition and so you have to look it up separately which is annoying af. Great app though

Good app!

Fun and straightforward. Use it along with other apps and find friends who speak the lingo.

Good Visual-Spatial Game, but with Flaws

I'm a Spanish teacher. I downloaded this app in order to fine-tune my own Spanish vocabulary skills since I'm a native English-speaking teacher of Spanish - but also so that I could feel out how effective this game would be if an English-speaking learner of Spanish played it.

It is an excellent game for the visual-spatial learner, and is helpful with the learning of the pronunciation of the vocabulary words. However, with the presentation of the meaning of verbs, it would be better to present verbs in their infinitive forms (ex: "lavar ") instead of other grammatical structures of those verbs, as is the case with the use of gerunds/present progressive participles in the games (ex: "lavando "). Another suggestion is for the creators of the app to clarify the images correlating to some of the vocabulary words. There were some words where in which more than one picture can be applied to correctly identify the meaning of that word. I had instance where I chose one picture to go with a vocab word, that I got wrong, which was technically also correct - along with the correct answer.

Also, with the clothing section , there were also instances when there was a use of some vocab words interchangeably, that could confuse the learner. One such example is with the word for t-shirt " camiseta" and "remera". Which of these 2 forms is the learner supposed to learn and remember? It would be better to stick to "camiseta", which I think is more universally used than "remera".

The ad pop ups are also annoying. It will be helpful to remove them.

Way too many ads

I know the developer relied on ads for a free app, but this one just has way too many. Try Spanish dictionary for another vocabulary game with fewer ads.

Fun Fun Fun

Really easy and fun way to learn your Spanish.
Pronounces the words as you read them, you pick the correct picture for the word. Goes as fast as you can touch the screen.
Well designed app.

Fun Game

I am on level 10 of 40. This is a pop up picture game to learn Spanish words and maybe a few phrases. Will it help you speak conversational Spanish, probably not.

Love this app!!

I took three years of Spanish in high school ages ago, and was looking for something to help me review. This app is very well done. It is great for vocabulary building. It is also helpful that you can redo previous sections that you have already completed. My youngest child sometimes takes over when I'm playing, so I know it appeals to both young and old. GREAT APP!!

Completely unimpressed

This is ineffective as a stand alone system. Maybe in conjunction with another program this might help with quick reinforcement drills, but even that is questionable to me.

The images are ambiguous, example, is that woman blowing a kiss? Flirting? Just blowing? Or something else I've not considered? Without a translation, you would only get a vague (possibly inaccurate) impression of the word.

Plus, the guess and fail method, even when I reduced the number of pictures to 2 or 4, is a very frustrating method to learning a foreign language.

Find one of the better systems out there.

Sicks

I wanted to learn spanish not always get quizzed on it i always failed because it didn't teach me any words I didn't learn anything from that app 1*

Please Update!!!!

I'm almost finished with all the levels, would like to see an update. This app is amazing, helps me to spanish really fast!!!

Helpful

I like this app, quizzing with image associations is a good way to gain a grasp of new words.

Two suggestions; when you miss one the correct image should be identified, and, for me, with some images it's not clear what they're doing. So even though I've learned to pick the right pic, I'm still not clear on the word's meaning. Overall I like it!
