There are ads in the game and you cannot pay to remove them, so the only way to learn without interruptions is to play it offline.

- Is the corner of my palm supposed to be touching the paper as I write? If so, this children's writing program screwed up.

BTW, Mom thought that was the cutest question in the world. She confirmed that I was doing it correctly.
Overall, this is a good app for children. But if you're older and looking to rehabilitate your hands you may want to keep searching.
