Helpful with room for improvement
This is a helpful app to allow children to understand the shapes that create capital letters. It is basic, no bells and whistles, which is okay depending on your purpose. A visual issue with the app is that some letters do not fully connect the parts of the letters so they are left incomplete, eg P there is a gap between the original straight line and the bottom part of the curve. This could be confusing for children and would be great if this could be rectified. This occurs on many of the letters unfortunately so bare this in mind before committing to make a purchase. The feedback given for correct and incorrect formation is quite repetitive and the lack of quality animations, sounds and/or things to do when being successful will limit child use, especially if you are hoping for the child to use the app independently. This is not an app that your child is likely to use independently for more than very short periods of time due to reasons detailed above.
