I have just paid for this and though it acknowledges my status it just does not work and no why to complain so I have been ripped off
Soz not up to expectations
I was told this app was pretty good and I am overreacting a lot but I just get annoyed really easily and I couldn’t even learn anything because I find it easier to be read to and I couldn’t even learn anything because of so many adverts
Waste of time.
The ai can’t pronounce the words properly.

As other reviewers wrote, the pronunciation is not in Welsh but a bad American computerized voice. Not useful in the least.

Do Not Use This App
Machine generated speech uses the English alphabet snd phoneme system, not the Welsh! “F” is pronounced as “F” as in “office,” not “V” as in victory (as it should be). The word “the” is translated to “i” instead of the proper Welsh “y,” and worse!—it gets pronounced with the English “i” as in “eyeball” instead of the Welsh “u” as in “umbrella…” I could go on and on about how WRONG this app is, and I haven’t used it for more than 5 minutes! I had hoped that this would give me an alternative way of practicing my Welsh, but I am deleting this immediately and going back to Duolingo and Say Something in Welsh where things may not always be correct, but at least they aren’t dead wring most of the time!!!

Words and phrases included are great but the voice saying the words pronounce them incorrectly.

I wanted to learn Welsh because I have a Welsh uncle he can speak English but i wanted to learn it for fun So I downloaded this app, and i got on and went onto the basics and I couldn’t hear the pronunciation this is really sad and I do hope it gets fixed I also showed my Welsh uncle and he said some of the words aren’t even right!!! So if anyone else wants to lean Welsh I recommend Duolingo it has a little monthly fee but u do get a free trial for like 2 weeks or so. So don’t get this app get Duolingo!

Pronunciation!
It is a basic app to help you learn words. The pronunciation is awful! Some of the words are even spelt out letter by letter, rather than saying the word! Whoever developed this app needs to research the Welsh pronunciation of words and update, as otherwise it’s pointless!!
Could be better.
I think this app would be really good if there were verbal examples. As a beginner to welsh, reading the spelling is really difficult. Having a verbal example so you can repeat and know the correct pronunciation is what you really need!

This app is not worth downloading, you won’t learn a lot, especially welsh pronunciation so dont waste your time !
Totally useless and doesn’t work
If I could put no stars at all I would. This app is voiced by a computer, a computer which doesn’t understand the basics of Welsh pronunciation: for example, when it came to read out ‘dda’ it pronounced it as separate English letters :”D-D-A”. Ludicrous and useless, I have already deleted the app. How disappointing.
