Dictionary works fine. Word of the Day does not work. The following is what occurs when WOTD is tapped: “You need network access to see the Word of the Day.” Do not know what that means. If you want to speak your word the microphone reads the following: “stopped” This app is with version: 2.0, last update 10 years ago.

Word of the day doesn’t load. Requesting for internet access whilst I’m online.
Dissatisfied and Disappointed
Not enough explanation of meaning of words. It’s better to check internet rather than use this dictionary. Total waste of money.
The very best learner’s dictionary
Great definition, lots of examples and clear meanings. However, it doesn’t support iPhone models that notches like after iPhone X. Seriously, I ask the developer to get this updated. Please!!!

This is almost the only American English learner’s dictionary… why wouldn’t you update this app? Otherwise, so many learners of American English will be left hapless and helpless

My favorite dictionary from MW
I really like this dictionary as it has good definitions and example sentences. It doesn’t use infrequently used words like the higher gradient Merriam-Webster Dictionaries usually do but has more definitions than the elementary version. Good intermediate dictionary app!
One thing I hope for is an updated version for the UI so it fills the screen on my phone and iPad!

Best app for 2nd language learning
Easy to understand and explanation is straightforward. Best app for me to learn English words.
The images don’t show up
It’s a useful dictionary but the images accompanying definitions don’t load. It just shows a black background with a tiny white circle.
Much to be desired
I wish I could choose between different fonts and font sizes. This is important because different people have different preferences for fonts, which has a significant impact on the efficiency and effectiveness of reading.
