Simple to use and great for learning! Wish there were more patterns though on the paid version
Great app, but...
I purchased it because I work with students with visual impairments and it’s great for their visual skills. Unfortunately, I didn’t realize that the purchase wouldn’t transfer to a new device (work issued iPads change every couple of years). Very disappointed to have lost my money, and I won’t be spending it again.
I’d happily pay a few more dollars up front to permanently own this app. I’m over this micro-transaction, subscription-based, you-don’t-own-what-you-pay-for economy.
If I could have purchased this app outright, I would have given you five stars for its simplicity and effectiveness.

I like it, it's great, I like it . . .
This application is great visually with it's size color and spacing. I also like that there is practice to generalize from animals, shapes, to letters and numbers. Also, with the successive difficulty levels, as a traveling teacher, it's easy to use this as an IEP goal that builds as the year progresses. Thanks for the user-friendly program.

Great learning app
My son (3.5) enjoys this app, and I do, too. I searched awhile for an app that would teach pattern recognition skills--not as easy as it sounds. This is one of the better ones.

Doesn't work
I just bought this after trying out the free version and am greatly disappointed. The easy patterns aren't there and what is there is 9 of the exact same thing. If I try to scroll the screen just bounces

Need an Educational version
The kinder teachers in the school I work at requested this app. It does some great things, but there is one very major roadblock. Because we use a Volume Purchasing Plan (VPP), we can only use three of the options, since VPPs can not do in-app purchases. PLEASE create an education version (I know we would have to buy it) for schools to be able to use, just as many other apps makers have done. Any district with a significant number of iPads will use a VPP, which renders this app virtually useless to all those teachers who would like to use it. We would love to have access to a full version of this app!

It'd be nice to upgrade to more complicated patterns. But otherwise it's a great job.

Your kid will love it. Surely, playing this app will promote your child early mathematics learning, particularly development of spatial awareness, sequencing and ordering, comparison and classification.

Great, but need a couple tweaks
I love this app, and my students find it pretty user friendly. A couple of improvements; I would like to have the option of having the completed pattern remain for few second so a student who is learning can visually review the correct answer, and secondly the patterns with three repeats (AAAbb_). Should be longer so it is actually a pattern that can be interpreted.

This app is the start of reading. Remembering the beginning, middle and end of stories is important.
