Disappointed

Was hoping for a small portable practice instrument. Unfortunately it is a PIA. Half the time it either doesn’t know what string your on and other times you get no sound from it

Don,t bother!!

I saw that people were having issues but thought that as this was quite some time ago and that there has been some ‘bug fixes’ since the previous reviews, I thought that this must have been the fix…..
Nope, whatever the ‘fixes’ were they had nothing to do with not being able to navigate past putting your email in.
Very disappointing, the app looks great in the promo stuff, but sadly that’s as far as you get.

Works with iPhone, doesn’t on iPad

So the option to sign in with Google login works on the iPhone but not the iPad. Only option on iPad is to create an account via email address, but you cannot create a password when prompted…only get a blue box with no input.

Need to implement the logon option for using a Google account in iPad to make this a viable iPad application.

Crashes all the time

Haven’t been able to open this app for weeks now.

Regret

I wish this just worked. Cool app, but just like the guitar itself it just doesn’t always work.

Don’t leave it running.

It will drain your battery. This is trash. It does kind of work.

Crashes every time I try to open it.

Can't even load the app. 800$ for the jamstik studio and software doesn't even work.

Almost useless

It’s nothing but a web site wrapper, which means when it’s unreachable, or down, you can unable to access basic Jamstik features.

Login page won’t let me log in

If you’re going to force us to log in to use the app, you might not want the password page to be just a blue box that never fully loads so you can’t put in a password.

Terrible

App doesn’t even work now. It used to work. Now it crashes before even loading up. Goes straight to some website that doesn’t load. Wasted my money.

Extremely useless App, rendering the Jam Stik useless, too!

It won’t go anywhere past the first loaded page! I cannot Create an Account, nor sign into an account (If I had created an Account!)
This makes my brand new Jam Stik USELESS, and as a result, will be returning the new Jam Stik for a full refund!

Crap app

Title says it all

App doesn’t always work

And it doesn’t work with my ipad.

Oops Our Server....

Just installed the app and it won’t even start up for the first time stating an error message “Oops, our servers seem to be having trouble.” I was hoping the current negative reviews were bias but it appears they are accurate. Also having errors when attempting to install the macOS software too. For such an expensive piece of rig, I’m sure having a rough time with the software working on the first day. :/

So goood

I jus downloaded this app to use with the jam stick my husband got for Christmas works really well and has a nice user interference I am using it in my iPad Air 4

Doesn't work

This is very poorly designed and doesn't work. What a shame

This can be a great tool

If and when it works. All of the comments are correct. You really need to debug your application so that it does not crash when you are in the middle of an exercise.

Good Hardware bad Software

I love my Jamstik 7. It is the best tool to learn guitar chords.

The App is not very user friendly, and the design is horrible (text overflows buttons, switches by themself to portrait mode, navigation is confusing, some settings not really understandable).

Question:
In the „learn chords“ view i can restart the current session straight from my jamstik thanks to the d-pad navigation. Unfortunately it does not exists from the practice view. I have always to go back to the dashboard and select the combination of chords that i want to practice.
There are two buttons navigating me to the dashboard, labeled „choose excercise“, one could be reused to restart the current practice session.

Also: it would be awesome if i could to create a list of chords that i want to practice instead of have all the learned chords or a hard coded list of chords (kind of a playlist)

Jamstik portal

App just crashes needs fixing before I can review it properly

Seriously?!?

The only button in this app that I can touch without it crashing is the profile button. That's just ridiculous. The jamstik is useless to me without the app. I know I could use my PC or possibly the Chromebook, but that's not the point. I bought it specifically to use with my iPad. The websites even all push for it to be used with iOS. It should work better here than anywhere else! With how much a jamstik costs, there's no excuse for this.
