This app has huge potential but it’s the most unreliable when you need it most. Don’t use it after any update or upgrade. Customer service is helpless and the support chat is dead. Live chat takes forever to respond and email comes with apologies and holding response. Sometimes the company should give realistic feedback and prioritize customer. Why introduce a feature that is unstable and rushed.

Frustration ProMax
I actually thought I did a review before but the experience I had in the past 2 days made me come here to post this. It’s been 2 horrific days of delayed transactions without proper justification. I’m being generous by giving a 1 star

Leatherback is a scam
They are a scam if you need proof use their app !!
Nonsense app
I had a terrible experience with Leatherback. On October 11, 2024, my family friend, Mr. Murdoch, sent me £2,287 via Leatherback, and I immediately provided all the necessary documentation to receive the funds. Despite fulfilling every requirement, the money has yet to be released, and their customer service has been completely unhelpful.
This is not a minor delay. I’ve been in constant communication with their support team, but all I receive are vague responses without any real progress. The lack of urgency and transparency is frustrating, especially considering the importance of the funds to me.
Desperate for help, I even reached out to Leatherback’s CEO and key executives via social media, tagging them multiple times with my ticket number (#12906). I also tagged relevant authorities like the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) in Nigeria, hoping to draw attention to the issue and the apparent incompetence within Leatherback.
As a customer, this situation has caused undue stress and financial strain. I trusted Leatherback with an important financial transaction, expecting reliable service, but they’ve shown nothing but delays and unprofessionalism. I would urge anyone thinking about using their service to be extremely cautious, as their handling of this matter has been beyond disappointing.

I've been using the Leatherback app for a while now, and I'm impressed with its affordability. The rates for international transfers are much cheaper compared to other apps I've tried. The multi-currency feature is a standout for me, as it makes saving in multiple currencies incredibly easy.
