so randomly my lights disconnected, and when I tried to connect them, I can’t find the thing when I scan the barcode and now I’m just stuck with purple lights
Garbage app for Tesla access
Doesn’t work and connects once and then doesn’t open. Reloaded reinstalled 5 x no luck.

Very buggy
I got these led star lights and needed to download this app because the remote that came with them didn’t work, occasionally it glitches out and the screen gets stuck, or won’t let me change the color or brightness, or the worst one, won’t let me turn the lights off! So I have to unplug the lights every time and the switch is hard to reach, I know the switch situation is like whatever because most people WONT have that problem it’s just very inconvenient. Overall I would recommend if the lights require you to get the app and it’s still fun when it works

Not working
It’s really hard to turn them on once u disconnect and connect them back been fighting with it for the last 3 hours
App Functionality❌❌❌
The lights look really good. All the colors are pretty bright the box works good to control them. The App for them however is terrible. After downloading you can open the app and connect to the light and use it once you close the application it will no longer start up the application. Must delete and repeat process if you wanted to use the app again.

Not the best
Starts off great but I noticed when I added a Bluetooth lightbulb for my main light, it started crashing and the whole blue section stoped working now I can only use red and green or them mixed. Other than that the light works fine just the app needs to be fixed before there’s a lot of glitches.

No longer working. Doesn’t connect to lights and app crashes. Deleted and reinstalled several times still doesn’t work.
UPDATE: 05/13/2026
FINALLY THE APP WORKS AS IT SHOULD!! Before, the app would crash after opening it and leaving the app. Once you minimized the app, you couldn’t open it again, it would never load.. you had to delete the app and redownload to be able to use it. It was such a headache. Glad the issue was finally resolved. Now you can close or minimize the app without fear of it not opening/loading again.
Update today 04/21/25 didn’t do anything. Still trash and doesn’t work. Just pushing out updates for no reason at this point. Doesn’t even deserve one star. 0/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND
Supposedly the app was updated 11/18/25 but absolutely NOTHING CHANGED. Still crashes and have to delete the app and redownload after each use!! Terrible! They only “update” the app once every 8 months, but don’t actually fix anything. Legit TRASH!

Light is great—app not so much.
Love the poolexa pool lamp and the controller, but the app needs work—the on off timer is confusing to set up and I can not get it to work no matter how much I try. Please make it better! Rebuild it with Claude Code!!
Upgraded phone
Upgrade my phone from iPhone 16 to the 17 and now I cannot get the Bluetooth to pick up the lights through the app and the lights are on the same color as I left them. Any ideas on how to get them to go into pairing mode.
Good but needs improvement
Got underglow for my motorcycle, the app automatically syncs to the system and it’s got some neat features, it needs some updating, bug fixes, and maybe some more features. Other than that it’s just a budget app for budget LED’s

Dose not even connect to my phone and did not send me a code for a new account and the controller doesn’t work with it

App has so much potential. SO MANY of us in the Car community rely on this app for the wow factors that are advertised like music and voice. But they simply just do no work whatsoever, unlike some I’ve never gotten them to work. But other than that i mean it does whatever works
Sudden Problems
I don’t know if the app it tripping or my car but the lights worked beautifully for about a week or 2 and now I can’t even get the bluetoooth to connect to the lights, they don’t work at all

I think if the app worked, or could even be connected at all, this would be a much different review. The hardware seems good, but the difficulty (impossibly) of using the app ruins the use case for me. Too bad.
Just doesn’t work
The color wheel is inverted. It’s been this way for years. Also the UI isn’t very straightforward, and pairing almost never works.

This app is horrible
Unlike the other reviews I have no problems with my lights but my issue is the lies they advertise. The voice control and music does not work. It’s a glorified led light and that’s it. I downloaded music, got it working, cut my car off came back and it’s no longer working. 2 hours I figured you just have to constantly switch the sensitivity back and forth and now it’s working for now

This app SUCKS
I had it working and then I deleted the app and it stuck. There is no factor reset. No matter what I change the pix it will NOT change for music. My led lights are but the whole point of me getting this was for the music part. What a scam
