HOW IT WORKS Every morning, Leeway reads the day around you: • Sunrise and sunset for your exact location, which shift by hours across the year and move everyone's routine with them • Live weather, because rain empties the streets and a rush follows it • The day of the week, and what you've told us is near your route — a school, a park, a busy road • Your dog's own triggers and how strongly they react Then it names your quiet windows in daylight, the hour worth avoiding, and why. IT LEARNS YOUR DOG Log a walk and Leeway starts correcting toward what actually happens on your streets, rather than what usually happens on a street like yours. After a couple of weeks the forecast is about your dog and your route. WHAT IT MEASURES Most apps count reactions. That measures your neighbourhood, not your dog. Leeway tracks what behaviourists track: • Threshold distance — how close a trigger can get before your dog reacts • Recovery time — how long until they settle afterwards • Reactions per encounter — the quiet passes are the denominator, and they're the whole point AND HOW YOU'RE DOING Your dog's progress is slow. Yours doesn't have to be. Leeway tracks confidence going out and how you come back, because the walk is happening to you too — and that's usually where change shows up first.
