Disappointing
I have played all of the Legacy games and enjoyed them, so naturally I gave this one a shot. It started out really great, beautifully done, nice story line, and challenging. But eventually it started to feel like a punishment. The puzzles become absurd. They are so convoluted and needlessly difficult it’s really unenjoyable.

A great game in a great series
I love point and click adventure games that challenge me to think outside the box. This game is simply designed but complex, reminding a bit of the original Myst. Thank goodness it has optional hints, though. Would highly recommend.

Another great Game by David
Great story, intriguing puzzles and lively action. Some of the challenges were hard to fathom and even with the help function, it was hard to see the logic. There are a number of ways to move between rooms including a map and a useful camera that you can use to take a snapshot, then travel to the snapshot’s location. Smooth navigation within and between rooms. Keep your eyes peeled when you complete a puzzle as not all outcomes are readily obvious. Well worth the fee for a game which is challenging and enjoyable.

Fantastic puzzler
I just finished this one, after playing through the first 4 games. I don’t know what to do with myself now, I was so obsessed with these. If you like the Room, these are great. Kudos to David!

Challenging but Amazing Game!!
We need more games like these!! So much better than most “escape room” games!!
A few thoughts
I have loved all of the legacy games…until this one. Don’t get me wrong, it’s still worth the price of admission and its flow and design are as good as ever, however, this one was impossibly difficult. With the other ones I tried to see how I could do with using very few hints and usually kept it in the low single digits. This one I had to use hints every couple of sequences and even had to watch the videos on several occasions. I don’t want to be too negative about it because it should be a fun game, its just out of my league.

Another Incredible Game
A huge and varied game with plenty to explore. I did refer to the hints this time, mostly due to having left several weeks between playing, which is not the best thing to do with a game like this, you do need to remember what’s going on. The camera and map are a godsend though and it’s great that you can resort to the hints if you’ve forgotten what on earth you have been doing previously. For the first time with this developer, I did find a couple of the visual clues finicky. I knew what I should be doing but could not see the clue for love nor money, barely even when I’d looked up the answer. I am being picky though, as there are bags of satisfying and well designed puzzles and I mention it only because I have not found this to be the case in the previous games.

Surprised at how good this game is!
A huge fan of this style of games, and so surprised at how good it is, the graphics excellent the game play is good, it’s surprisingly tricky game! Very enjoyable so far!

Waouh! Je suis fan des Legacy depuis le 1er opus, et j’ai découvert ce nouvel épisode avec grand plaisir. Mais où allez vous chercher des énigmes aussi complexes, M. Adrian? J’adore ce style de jeux, je suis assez difficile à coincer sur ce genre de casse-têtes. Mais alors là, ils m’ont sérieusement donné du fil à retordre, et j’avoue avoir plusieurs fois eu recours aux indices ( il y en a plusieurs niveaux d’ailleurs, ce qui permet d’être aiguillé mais de continuer à chercher). C’est beau, la durée de jeu est longue… le seul inconvénient c’est que maintenant on est impatient d’avoir la suite!😉

Excellent puzzles, many hours of fun gameplay
I’ve played all the games from this developer and they continue to get better and better. The puzzles are not obvious, and can require many steps and disparate clues to figure out. I love the teleporting function, this makes navigating easy instead of soul-sucking, which motivates me to take my time and explore rooms many times over instead of getting hints. When I have resorted to hints, they’re nice multi-step ones starting with gentle prods that push my in the right direction but allow me to still solve the bulk of the puzzle myself. I really appreciate how these games are put together, really well done.

You’ve done a great job on this one. In fact, I’d say it’s probably my favorite Legacy game. Some of the puzzles weren’t really intuitive for me, but it helped that I replayed the first 4 games right before playing, so I was familiar with what kinds of puzzles you use. I also used a lot of hints—thank you for the hint system in this game and not giving me a limit to how many I can use at a time. That saved me lol.
But the story is amazing. I was so invested in helping this giant robot. Of course, now I’m hoping you’re working on the follow-up so I can find out what happens next!
