Downloaded TransUnion and attempted to log on. Was told to continue on Legacy app. Legacy app says invalid password format. Still make to log on from pc.

TransUnion is trash. I can’t log into the app or online.
To “unlock” an online login, you must send them an email with a copy of your ID and proof of address from a bank statement or utility bill. This is done by email attachment, rather than through an encrypted portal.

As as the last person. Can’t log onto either app only my laptop . I guess their I.T. People are terrible. No wonder they were hacked
No way to manage your credit
I have been in a loop and in a circle over and over. I try to tell them I have to address and I know both. This is ridiculous

Not necessarily the app but the company.
I was able to enroll and freeze my credit easily with Experian and Equifax.
Dealing with TransUnion was, and still is exasperating. It was interminable getting a representative on the phone. After resetting my password a countless number of times, it was determined that the issue was my VPN and use of Safari. Once I disabled my VPN and used Safari I was able to login and freeze my credit. I logged in about a month afterwards and was able to proceed seamlessly.
About less than a year later, I received snail mail from Trans Union regarding a data breach. When I tried to login to Trans Union’s affiliate, mytrueidentity.com, (mindful to disable my VPN and use Safari), I was unsurprisingly blocked.
So at this juncture, I need to wait until tomorrow to speak to a representative and rectify this issue. I wonder how long this is going to take.
The aforementioned statements are the gist of the issues. I could elaborate on other related matters but don’t wish to expend any more energy on their difficult and ineffective procedures.

Doesn’t work!!
Password on website is fine, but downloaded not one but two of these apps that say it’s incorrect! Pretty disconcerting, unprofessional, and absurd.
Heaven forbid if you update your password
The app made me update my password and now it won’t allow me to log in, and now this is affecting both the “legacy” and the other TransUnion app, despite me allowing facial recognition to verify it’s me. Sighs* it’s just the system wanting us to fail with our finances.

Tried logging in using the old app and it said I had to use the legacy one which I downloaded. The Legacy app said it’s being discontinued soon and will not accept my original password. I am trying to get in so I can do some changes because of the data breach. What’s going on ?

The updated TransUnion app told me to download this legacy app so I can log in. Neither app works with my credentials. My credentials only work on the website. Very strange.

I downloaded Legacy Transunion to pull up my credit they didn’t. They asked a small fee to pull up my credit score I paid and I still don’t get it.
