Difficult but rewarding
A fairly hardcore “blobber” rpg dungeon crawler. The monsters are scary, the puzzles are puzzling, and many of the magical artifacts feel like artifacts, both being harder to obtain and giving you an advantage over more mundane items that are easy to acquire. This is pretty much exactly what I was looking for on the appstore, and I hope there is another similar game on here.

Still great after all these years
I’ve been playing LOG since it first came out. Once I go through the entire game, I put it aside for a few years, then come back and play it all over again. I’m coming up on my 66th birthday, having played D&D using graph paper and very ordinary excited die starting when I was 17 in the 1970s. My one frustration with this game is realizing that the puzzles that rely on speed and the ability to slide back-and-forth are almost beyond my ability now. Currently, I’m stuck begging my 23-year-old youngest to puhleze help me out here. The graphics are solid, the limited number of species and archetypes within the party are pretty much in keeping with the origins of the genre. There are a lot of different types of enemies and a lot of really confusing and challenging puzzles. My only suggestion to those who are new to LOG is save *a lot*, hoard your potions as much as possible (even if it means reloading the game), enjoy the escargot and, have fun by not racing through to the end.

Was my favourite game back in the day.
This is a fantastic clone of that. I purchased ages ago l but never got round to playing. Really good fun and well worth every penny.

Pretty Unoptimized
A classic but sadly very hard to play on modern phones with the small screen space. Doesn’t seem to be any chance of an update at this point.
Dungeon Master on IOS
If you played the classic Dungeon Master on an Atari ST or Commodore Amiga then you will love this and be right at home. This is essentially the exact same game type. If, however, you are looking for a modern first person RPG, or aren’t really into retro gaming, then there’s a chance you will hate this game. The reviews here all seem to mostly be in those two camps.
Dungeon Master was revolutionary for its time and this brings back those good feels. I’m stoked a company is doing this kind of thing. Thanks for the updated memories, Dev Team!

My favorite mobile game is missing my favorite game mechanic.
So, to start out with, I love this game. Absolutely phenomenal gameplay and graphics, and it all runs smoothly. I love the game and have for years now.
However, back when I played on an iPad when it first came out, I remember unlocking Toorum mode. This elevated the game to a whole new level. It was similar but so different, and felt like a whole new game. So, when I recently started playing again, I was excited to unlock Toorum mode. I found the secret that unlocks it, held Toorums Remains up to the crystal of life, and….. nothing. It doesn’t work on an iphone. I can’t find any way to solve this problem and it was really disappointing that it hasn’t been fixed yet (I found a post from 2015 with the same problem). I know it worked at some point, so I hope it’s just a bug that could be fixed fairly easily, but I am very sad that my favorite mobile game was missing my favorite game mechanic.

Best dungeon crawler game in the App Store is this one. I only wish they would have legend of Grimrock 2 available in the App Store as well almost human is an awesome game developer
A Classic RPG
This Game is so much fun with heaps of exploration and puzzles to solve. I find most D&D RPG’s to daunting because of the complexity in skill levels but this game has been easy to just play at my own pace. My only regret is that I didn’t give it a try sooner. Bring on part 2.

Best iPad game hands down
This is still the best iPad game as of 2022. Just wish they would release the sequel. I love old RPGs, and this is actually superior to my beloved Eye of the Beholder series I played in the 90s.
