Great w room for improvement!
This app is everything that’s been saluted in previous 5 star reviews so I won’t repeat all those nice words. I just want to quickly shout out to the development team - is it possible to have a feature to automatically track and record the words that we clicked on for translation? Basically, a fully integrated vocab builder / memory card deck. It will be nice to include how many times in total we clicked on it for translation, as well as all common forms in present tense.

Brilliant
A fantastic supplement to any Latin program. Very well designed app with a deep collection for all skill levels. It’s been easy to jeep up with my learning habit with this app.
Too slow
I can’t stand listening to this incredibly slow audio of a bunch of sentences I can’t understand. Where’s the part where you tell me what the words mean and how to form sentences etc
Better then dualingo for learning.
Makes you LEARN the words instead of other apps and it does it by reassuring you tht if you can’t get it you can see the meaning and then you remember that for next time. overall i dont see a better app rhat helps with learning and understanding.

far too expensive
unquestionably the best latin learning app i've found. unfortunately after a few days i was incredibly disappointed to be met with a screen telling me i had to pay A HUNDRED DOLLARS to continue learning. intrinsically hostile to low income learners.
Best language app
This is my favorite language learning app. It teaches grammar better than Babbel, DuoLingo, and Rosetta Stone. Plus, it is way more fun.

this app makes a bunch of readings available in a helpful format, and provides guidance on how to progress through the readings. it has Lingua Latina per se illustrata so if that is enough grammar for you it can be a complete method, though i needed more grounding so am working through some grammars on the side. but having the number and variety of readings all in one place, with helps, is great. well worth the subscription.

Fantastic language app
Legentibus is such a great app for learning Latin. It is curated with care and real respect for the language. And I love that it is created by scholars and not using AI. The human touch and high quality are so refreshing in a heavily automated world. It is perfect for re-learning Latin several years after doing my degree. Highly recommended.

Excellent learning tool
I’ve been learning Latin and looking for resources to use. Started by buying LLPSI - forward progress, but needed additional material.
Then I found Legentibus. Wow.
First, the app is really nicely designed and easy to navigate (some room for improvement).
Second, and probably more important, actually learning Latin has been really fun and my learning has improved much since starting to use this. In contrast to what other reviews say, the additional readings are invaluable in slowly building up a solid foundation.
I do have ideas for improvements (mostly regarding the app itself), not sure what the best place for suggestions would be.
Then I found Legentibus. Wow.

I love the new beginners course. Listening while reading is so helpful. I have used legentibus for a year and a half and wish I got it sooner. Also response time for questions is really fast. Highly recommend

A great app and a wonderful way to learn reading Latin. I had the “Familia Romana” book for several years and started learning with it several times - but only now with Legentibus I was able to get through it (plus a number of other books). Well done - thanks for your great work!

But, I’m going to for this one because of how awesome this app is. I’ve wanted to learn classical Latin for years. I maxxed out the Latin on Duolingo, which was fun, but it was too short to be of great use. I purchased a textbook and tried to learn that way, but it’s boring and difficult. After a long time of wanting to learn, but not, I found this website. If you want to learn Latin, use this. It’s not like those surface-level or non-user-friendly platforms. It’s professional, well-designed for learning, and most importantly: fun. I think it’s easy to prioritize the “best” way to learn something, but we are human, and an important factor in continuing to learn is enjoyment of the process. From the first page of reading you will feel like you can read the language. Truly a must have for nerds like me.

I am 30 days into learning Latin; yes, this app is expensive. However, worth every single penny and then some. This is my sixth language journey and I find myself saying, “damn, I wish I had this when I was learning Russian (or any of the other four languages I’ve studied).”
