About

Follow the 1963 Benedictine Breviary, then deepen your understanding of the faith through the writings of Church Fathers, Doctors of the Church, and saints. PRAYER THROUGHOUT THE DAY Give your day a rhythm of prayer, from Matins and Lauds to Vespers and Compline. Through psalms, Scripture, and hymns, the Divine Office turns your attention toward God and joins your prayer to the worship of the Church. At home, on a journey, or between daily responsibilities, Legio Fidelis helps you make room for prayer. Read bundled English and Latin prayers, choose a comfortable text size, and let the prayers scroll at your own pace. A schedule in your local time zone and optional reminders help you return to the hours throughout the day. THE LITTLE OFFICE OF OUR LADY Choose the traditional Roman Little Office of the Blessed Virgin Mary under the 1960 rubrics, in Latin and English. Pray it on its own or alongside the corresponding Great Office hour. PRAY IN MORE LANGUAGES Dutch prayer texts are included for all eight offices and are available offline immediately. The Dutch text is a draft translation under review. Download additional prayer languages, including Greek. Greek (Translit) lets you read Greek in Latin letters. Powered by Google Translate, these automatic translations are reading aids, rather than official liturgical editions. Translation runs on your device, and downloaded languages work offline. A LIBRARY FOR DEEPER STUDY Go beyond brief reflections and spend time with the works themselves. Read St. Augustine’s Confessions, explore the complete English Summa Theologiae of St. Thomas Aquinas, and encounter the early Christian witness of St. Clement of Rome and St. Polycarp of Smyrna. Explore questions about God, creation, faith, virtue, and the moral life. Plain-language study notes on selected passages help explain difficult ideas through clear explanations and everyday examples. Follow Aquinas’s questions, objections, answers, and replies as you learn to think more deeply about the faith. Search authors, titles and passages, browse by historical period, and return to your recent reading. Summary Mode shows the study notes on annotated pages and keeps the original text where no notes are available. See reader counts for each work and explore visible readers’ Studying profiles. Greek or Latin editions are available for selected works. See other readers present in the app and in the live office. Community profiles show your avatar, username, tagline, Library study activity and all-time Prayer Rate. Prayer Rates count your completed offices from your signup date. Maps show country totals, never exact locations or individual markers. This update adds the Little Office of the Blessed Virgin Mary, which you can pray on its own or alongside the Great Office. Library improvements include Summary Mode for study notes, reader counts and profiles for each work, and a cleaner layout. We have also added more theological study notes, improved prayer tracking and reduced offline storage use. The app icon has been refreshed, and Dutch prayers remain included for offline reading. Prayer Rates now count from your signup date, and your all-time percentage appears subtly in reader lists and community profiles. Profiles are visible by default. The Office lobby’s Open map link now opens the lobby map; the separate prayer map remains available while praying.
