How about you fix the app that hasnāt worked properly for over a year before releasing a new wave of products?
Another release, and still no fix. Historical data is still having issues in the newest version, 5.1.6. Other than system setup, the whole point of the app is to be able to monitor and review system data, right? Cannot review previous day(s), previous month(s), or previous year(s).

Solar System
Lots of frustration and trips to the roof to check on the panels and or replace the inverters or battery commanders. Very slow responding customer support. I was able to save $400 last year using 3kw system with the lead-acid battery system. Hopefully this year will be better with the lithium batteries.
The up is still unreliable. The system past performance still not available on this app. The next app version is supposed to have a fix of this issue.

Inverters fail
The micro-inverters fail customer service is a joke, the app is weak and buggy
Garbage
This system is complete garbage. My system has constant problems. Nothing will connect or stay connected. The range they claim this has is not even close. Not to mention that Im pretty sure you wonāt be able to sell your house with this installed. You canāt just put solar panels on your house legally no matter what they say.

With the latest update the experience has been greatly improved. Very happy with the ease of adding the new sets I received from the latest indiegogo.

Very informative system, its fun to see the solar energy production and also youāre saving the money. I like the layout its very clean and neat, the information is in real time so i can see the production rate and consumption rate right away. Very smart application.
Useful application
I have 1 starter set. Setup was a breeze, calibration proceess was a litle tricky but simple. I like how you can see all the information displayed and formatted clearly. I will get more expansion sets soon!
Great app for solar data monitoring
Just got a starter set with 2 expansion sets, I now produce free energy. This app allows me to monitor power I am producing, when the power production is highest and the money I am saving in electricity bills. Pretty cool.

Once you get familiar with the system it works like a charm. Very useful, intuitive and well designed. Love the new quick connect feature.

The app itself could be 3 star, it has some instability and needs some improved features.
When the product is working it would get 3 or 4 stars but there are significant issues with set up and component communication. Support gets a zero. They are very slow to respond. Often a week can go by with no response. They have no apparent escalation process. When a system has been down for a couple of weeks I would expect a call from an engineer who actually works on the system to try to analyze the problem not talk repeatedly to the same person who canāt figure out what is going on. They provide no theory of operation so itās hard to tell if you are seeing things that are expected or if itās a problem.

I really want this to work...
I completed installation of 600 watts a week ago, and finally got the app to connect the second day using their second method, turning off power to the house. The app only seems to report on a daily basis, no history I can find. Thatās not helpful. It also shows power generated jumping from zero to 375 watts or so, back to zero pretty frequently, lots of fluctuation even on cloudless days. Is that real or a buggy app? Who knows. It certainly hasnāt approached 600 watts. Iām reserving judgement on the overall system, but the app is cr-app.

Out my money.
I got a 1.2kw system to check it out. I planned on getting another 1.2kw if it worked out, because they say itās expandable. Iām glad I didnāt buy all of it. My system worked fine for about a month. Then one of my micro inverters went bad. Then the other 3 would only produce 20 watts each. I called the support and sent in two of them. They said that one was defective and the other was fine. I tied to reinstall it to see what happened but they wouldnāt connect. The support people wonāt pick up my call and sighs and stupid bs the the whole time. Bad company and now Iām out a few grand.

Worthless
$3000 later looks nice on roof and thatās all app freezes only good thing. They replaced busted panel Plug and pay
Very disappointed
Had this system since November and it is horrible. App keeps freezing, inverters shut down, calibration is useless. Have sent back a malfunctioning inverter only to be replaced by another malfunctioning inverter. Took four weeks to get replacement. Now have missed another two weeks with an inverter that has failed. Trying to troubleshoot with tech help takes forever. Really wanted this to work, but have been very disappointed.

App needs improvement, so does PLX Customerservice
Why canāt I:
- download data from the app into a spreadsheet (its my data!)
- customize the graphs for easier comparison (day-to-day overlays!? common axes values?!)
- define my own month start date (to align with my utility bill)

They seem particularly overloaded and inept.
I had to get a new controller for my panels because a connector broke off the first one. That took close to a month with no helpful communication.
Then I couldnāt get the system to link to the new controller until I eventually (by my own trial and error, zero help from customer support) rebooted the entire system from inside the app.
The Bluetooth range is also woefully short.
Zack from PLX seems like a nice young guy but he isnāt too helpful.
My system is working now although I get a lot of shade outside of 10-2 so my power generation is limited. A major rooftop installation is not suitable for me so it has been a worthwhile experiment in solar power for an affordable price, after a lot of unnecessary frustration!

Still doesnāt work?
Itās been in a month and it does NOT work, no one seems to be able to help? Every other day I email asking for help. System will not calibrate with panels. I can see how much power Iām producing on the app but itās not feeding into the system. I have a 200 lb paperweight on my roof now.

The app and the overall solar system needs a lot of work. Generally not ready for prime time. App is buggy and unreliable. The inverter and battery commanders are also problematic. I love the concept. Execution is not acceptable.
