Both of those were real faults on our side, and both are fixed in the update now in App Store review. The error messages came from our analysis service failing outright — nothing to do with your photos. The app now retries automatically when the service is busy instead of giving up, and says plainly what went wrong when it cannot finish. The inconsistency was a separate problem. Our model was running with enough randomness that the same photo could come back with a different verdict, which is not acceptable in an authentication tool. It now runs deterministically: the same photos return the same result every time. Thank you for reporting both — they are the reason these changes exist. That was an outage on our side, not anything you did. For several days our analysis service returned errors on every request, so scans never produced a result. It is fixed in the update now in App Store review, which also retries automatically when the service is busy rather than failing straight away, and makes the same photos return the same verdict every time. Worth another try once the update lands.
