Bring the old app back!!!

We bought both of the old train sets and now poof, no app. Just bring it back please. My kids and I are very disappointed.

Whose Decision Was It To Change The App?!?!!

The new app is ridiculous. My son has the older model and it’s his favorite. He doesn’t want the newer version and he hates the updated app. If it’s not broke, there is no need to fix it and there was no need to change the app. It was much more engaging with a better variety of activities and controls. Everything everyone else is saying is absolutely true. This has been a huge disappointment for my kiddo and my pockets. If I pay for an item, I expect to be able to utilize it entirely and to its fullest capability. It’s a little insulting that you’ve removed that option after already receiving full price. Would it have been impossible to keep the old app available as well? Lego…do better!

Leider wirklich schlecht

Ich verstehe es nicht, die alte App war nicht perfekt, aber die neue ist ein absolutes Downgrade.
So wird ein glücklicherweise haltbares Spielzeug per Software künstlich nutzlos gemacht.

Terrible update loss of experience

Absolutely horrible update for this train set. It has made it a really poor playing experience for the old red trains with lack of interactive buttons, speed control, action blocks. Seriously bring back the old app.

The previous app was much more fun, engaging and interactive. Made it feel like you were actually driving the train. The new app doesn’t give the same feeling just a bunch of pointless videos.

Amazing

We really love the duplo train. We didn’t actually know that the app would allow us to control the train’s motion, sounds, and lights and that we would be able to record ourselves using the sound bricks. We just thought that the train looked cool in the store. The app is just awesome. We highly recommend this train for 2 to 3-year-olds. They will think it’s incredible.

What a disappointment!

This new app is a HUGE let down. We have the original trains from when my oldest was little and his twin brothers love them and the older interactive app. This new app lacks creativity and interaction. How does this new app inspire creativity when all you can do is watch a few videos of someone else building a track? You can do better Lego.

New app is terrible

This new app is absolutely terrible. I would caution anyone who doesn’t already own these trains, DO NOT BUY THEM!!!!!!!! The new app basically requires your child to stare at an iPad (increase screen time) just to have the controls of a simple handheld remote. At that rate, just buy them a regular remote control train!
The old app was great - there were more controls (varying speed), there was a cute storyline while running the train and you could also see out the windshield like they actually were the train engineer. I believe there was also a part with different train track maps. This app seriously is useless… a few videos that nobody needs to watch more than once and a remote control with not much interaction that could be just a regular remote control at this point. My son is so disappointed. He spent so long putting his track together yesterday afternoon and was so excited to play with it this morning and then we had to update the app and ended up with this crummy app. The developers really ruined this app and my son’s experience with his Lego duplo trains….

Warum

Die alte App konnte variable Geschwindigkeit! Die neue ist wohl im digitalen Zeitalter angekommen: es gibt nämlich nur noch an oder aus! Ich dachte zuerst Lego macht Witze! Aber anscheinend ist das ernst! Und dann leider traurig….

Alte App war viel besser

Leider ein absoluter Rückschritt. In der alten App hatte man für die rote Dampflock viel mehr Steuerungsmöglichkeiten. Damit soll man genötigt werden die neuen Sets zu kaufen. Miserabel

This is not funny

When I was a child I used to like to play the old version of this app when they took it down I was really sad. It came out with this new version that I thought it was really good until I downloaded it. Thinking all those reviews I have read or just Karens i’m downloading the app. They’re not lying. It’s literally just an app with a bunch of videos and you can even play all the videos as well. We have to unlock. Just watch a video that you will probably never watch. this is just for the Bluetooth Duplo trains that you might have lying around. That’s what I thought and tell it’s not even just a controller. It’s not just a boring controller. It’s literally just a video I would if I wanted to use this app, I would just go on YouTube and watch the videos if there is any instead of paying just like two dollars to watch some videos bring back the old app or you can just add a controller into it. I don’t have a Duplo train but still can you do something more exciting like entire train app in Lego Duplo world or like something else like that just please do something.

Lieblose App

Die Duplo Eisenbahn ist gut, aber die App ist schlecht.
Lieblos umgesetzt.
Man kann die Geschwindigkeit nicht regeln.
Warum kann man nicht einstellen, was bei den Action bricks gescheit?
Verbindung mit Zug aufbauen ist jedes Mal ein Krampf.
Diese blödsinnigen Videos nerven nicht nur, sondern sind pädagogisch auch grausam! Unser Kind soll ja eben keine Videos gucken, sondern Eisenbahn spielen.
Sehr schade :(

Einfach nur schlecht

Seit dem Update rast der Zug davon, kaum zu stoppen! Die Aktionssteine werden erst gar nicht wahrgenommen. Was ist da schief gelaufen? Die App war mal wunderschön, liebevoll gestaltet. Jetzt nur noch mit ein Paar Tasten steuerbar. So viel Geld ausgegeben und dann sowas, echt Schade! Bitte die alte Version zurück bringen.

Upgraded/new app is terrible

My daughter was so upset when they took away the old app. The new one just has stupid videos of children building the train sets. It is no longer the interactive train journey it used to be where they could control the train and collect items/do activities.

Why would you change it to this useless thing??
