Terrible

Couldn’t figure it out with my five year old

It’s fine

It works great but it stopped working on my iPhone 6.

Awesome app

I love this app it’s the best but can you fix the sound system

Cannot export programs

If you’re familiar with the old NXT era programs, this isn’t too hard to figure out. As software, it’s a little less janky, but also a bit less functional. I wish you could name variables, copy/paste blocks, etc.

The biggest downside is that there is no way to send or receive programs. I made a complicated controller in the app, and it only exists on my phone. I can’t send it to an iPad, I can’t send it to my friend to try, it’s just stuck there.

Please add import/export functionality, or just sharing functionality

Amazing!

I like it, and use it a lot!

Decent

Lego could do a lot more with this app. They definitely need to add more sound effects.

App Update Needed – Bluetooth Connection Drops

We set up the Disney train under our Christmas tree and connected it to the app. After about five seconds of running, the train consistently loses its Bluetooth connection. We’ve tried multiple devices across iOS 15, 18, and 16, and all have the same issue. My girls were so excited to have this train under the Christmas tree, and now it doesn’t work at all. They’re extremely disappointed.

Disney train

I am so disappointed. I just got out our Disney train to enjoy it over the holidays with my grandsons and now I can’t make the app work with this train anymore. The train is only several years old. I have an iPhone 15 and it seems like it is not compatible with the app anymore. Can there be an update to this app so we can use it again? is there any way to run the train without the app?

Not working with the train motors anymore

We pulled out the winter village trolley again this year. We reattached the Powered Up hub (#88009), lights (#88005), and train motor (#88011) and were super disappointed to discover that the train motor appears to not be controllable through the app anymore. We can drive the train with the Powered Up remote (#88010) which confirms the problem is with the app, not the hub or motor. The app controls the lights correctly, just not the motor. Confirmed the same behavior on an iPhone 14 and an iPhone 17 Pro. Please fix this!

Lego Holiday Express Train

This app needs an update for the Holiday Express Train. A bonus would be sound effects to go along with it. It really needs a Santa sounding voice yelling “All aboard!”, “Ho. Ho. Ho. Merry Christmas!” And some additional train sounds like a deep train whistle, the chug-a-chug-chug sound. This would take this set/app to the next level. A final event would be a randomizer and a timer. People could hide the phone near the train and every 2-5 min, a random sound would belt out of the phone. That wouldn’t be a bad idea for all the trains to have an audio component with a timer and a randomizer.

Limited Use for Trains

Takes ages to pair and you can only run one train per iPhone so you might as well use the remote. You do get sounds (coming from your phone) tho.
