How can the WiFi suck so bad. I had to start a scan with a painter pole today. Do better Leica.
Unstabile Scannerverbindung
Leider reißt die Verbindung zum Scanner ab, sobald man die App verlässt (lockscreen, homescreen und App Wechsel) teilweise kann der Scanner danach seine Position im Bezug auf die vorherigen Standpunkte nicht mehr orten und der Scan muss in einer 2. Scan Gruppe fertiggestellt werden. Dies passiert teilweise auch nach dem Akkutausch. Eine komplette vorregistrierung ist dann nicht mehr möglich und muss in Cyclone Register nachgeholt werden. Ansonsten top zufrieden 👍

Crashes
A weak and unreliable app. Connectivity issues to hardware, laggy and unstable. When ok on very small projects if you have the time to keep reconnecting hardware, rebooting the app and going again. Great fun while trying to scan public toilets or busy spaces.

Deleting Scans
App works great. However, the storage on my mobile device fills up after a dozen or so scans. Even if you delete that scans in the app, they are not actually being deleted off your phone. In order to do that you have to delete the entire app and reinstall it. It would be great if full-size scans weren't stored on my phone at all. Or if the app cleaned up, it's local files when you deleted scans through its UI.

Super App, wenn man weiß was man tut
Leider spiegeln die Bewertungen nicht die Entwicklung der App wieder. Die App wird über verschiedene Lizenzmodell frei geschaltet. Einfach Downloaden und starten geht nur bedingt. Ich kann nur jeden einladen, diese mal über einen Scanner2GO Mietscanner zu testen. Man Scans registrieren, bereinigen, GeoTags anbringen und viele weitere Möglichkeiten der Dokumentation nutzen. Auch einfache Strecken und Flächen können gemessen werden. Unsere Kunden nutzen die App täglich und sind sehr zufrieden damit. Vielleicht bedarf es einfach einer richtigen Einweisung.

App stürzt oft ab, Verbindungen werden öfters nicht mit auf den Pc übertragen, nach Updates kann es auch mal vorkommen, dass die Daten gelöscht werden müssen. So im Großen und Ganzen echt kein rundlaufendes System, was einem oft graue Haare verursacht
Massive Step Backwards
Whilst fixes and improvements to reliability are always welcome, the UI in v6 is a huge backwards step.
Icons are tiny and disjointed, meaning the whole process in the field is far less streamlined.
It is obvious that shoehorning in their subscription services was the driving force, with actual convenience of use taking a distant second.
A terrible update that makes on-site workflow far less efficient.

Update broke app
I’m guessing I got the latest update today. The app worked this morning but now it’s broken. App screen pops up for a split second and then completely disappears, seems to be crashing even before it’s fully loaded. Unfortunately I’m scheduled to do a scan tomorrow. This kind of unreliability is just unacceptable.

Imbarazzante per Leica
Crash di continuo nel collegamento nuvole. Non è possibile liberarsi dei vecchi lavori anche se non presenti nello scanner. Tocca riallineare tutto su fisso.Speriamo….
MEMORIA LLENA
Tienes que estar desinstalando la aplicación cada día para borrar datos porque se llena la caché del programa y ya no te funciona.
PROBLEMA MEMORIA
Actualizaron la aplicación porque había un bugg que hacía que cuando eliminabas los proyectos liberaba la memoria, pues bien, con esta última actualización estamos igual o peor, es un verdadero coñazo tener que desinstalar y volver a instalar la aplicación, sobretodo cuando te encuentras en campo y no tienes internet. Encima, para más inri, si se te ha olvidado borrar datos en el láser, te los vuelve a grabar en el iPad cuando sincroniza.

Jedes Update schlimmer
Ich habe habe das Gefühl, dass die App mit jedem Update schlimmer wird. Jetzt werden die Toucheingaben, zum Beispiel bei der Auswahl der Gruppe oder vertikale/horizontale Ansicht nicht mehr richtig umgesetzt. Meine Geduld ist am Ende, wir werden juristisch überprüfen lassen inwieweit eine Entschädigung im finanziellen Kontext möglich ist!

Good but needs some bugs ironed out
Works well with RTC360 but locks up when using the P40 once you get over 10 3:30 scans in. Could do with remembering your presets especially when carrying out target assignments, having to constantly change the default setting from ‘Natural Target’ to ‘Black & White’ is annoying and frustrating.

Cuando se eliminan trabajos siempre quedan archivos sin borrar, éstos se van acumulando en el dispositivo y tras varios proyectos hay que suprimir la aplicación y volver a instalarla para poder tener espacio en la memoria y poder utilizar nuevamente la aplicación.

We are a 3D laser scanning technician using the Leica Geosystems ecosystem (RTC, BLK, P-Series) and Field360 is perfectly paired with these devices. The latest version is very easy to use and reliable. There are a number of small bugs that do not affect performance that the developers have been made aware of. Consistent updates with full release notes. Very happy.
