Leica is not what it used to be
For those who are not in the know, Leica was purchased by Blackstone (the American-based private equity firm). Rest assured, this app is a shameless play on the goodwill the Leica name has accrued over the last century and will not give you true legacy Leica-quality photographs.

Great app when it works, but seems some processing fails at times and you lose the photo you took (happens especially if you tap the small image preview in the corner)

Itโs a mobile app. ยฃ70 a year for an app subscription. There is no physical product

I like the app, on the whole, but find thereโs a big gap between the 50mm lens emulations and the 120mm one. Could you maybe add a 75mm or 80mm emulation to fill that gap?
And the cost of subscription means that while Iโm currently enjoying a free yearโs access courtesy of the Fjorden grip, I wonโt be paying a ridiculous ยฃ70 a year thereafter. This pricing must put many people off the app. Please consider a more afforable pricing model.

This is the best photo/camera/film emulation app Iโve ever used.

Good butโฆ.
Happy with the extra camera capabilities the app gives. I am using it with the Leica grip. Missing the burst mode feature from the iPhone - please add it in a future upgrade. And soon - the first year subscription is free with the grip but annual renewal is very expensive and I will need some new features to justify the cost.

I love this App
Amazing app. The new Leica point and shoot.
Great but consistently buggy
Love this app as it matches my m11-P lens choices (including the 40mm).
I do however find that it behaves inconsistently:
- it sometimes mixes up the 40mm and 50mm selection and I have to go wide then back to either 40mm or 50mm for it to work correctly.
- consistent in not firing the shutter with the volume control (which is the easiest method for my requirements). Meaning I have to revert to the on screen button, which is not suitable.
- somewhat laggy when trying to view what you have just taken and regularly loses a shot which shows up as a black/blank file.
Fix these issues please Leica and this will be the best camera App for iPhone.
Will have to cancel my yearly subscription if this keeps happening unfortunately.

Rent-seekers will receive 1-star reviews until perpetual licenses become available. I certainly enjoyed my trial period, but regardless of how enjoyable the trial is, Iโm not paying a subscription for a damn camera app.
