Initial Profits, Then Continuous Losses – My Experience
Based on my personal experience, I would advise everyone to think twice before investing your hard-earned money in their Smart Invest strategies or automated buy/sell features.
What happened to me was that, during the first 2–3 days, I saw small profits, which naturally built my confidence. Because of those initial returns, I decided to invest more money. However, after increasing my investment, my portfolio started showing continuous losses. I kept believing the losses would recover, but that never happened.
The pattern I noticed was that the strategies would occasionally generate a very small profit, followed by a much larger loss, making it extremely difficult to recover my portfolio. In my experience, I felt stuck in a cycle where my losses kept increasing instead of improving.
Within just two months, I lost around ₹25,000 and eventually exited all of their Smart Invest strategies.
I’m sharing my experience because I don’t want others to go through what I did. Please do your own research, understand the risks involved, and think carefully before trusting automated investment strategies or investing more money than you can afford to lose.
This is my personal experience, and unfortunately, it has been my worst investing experience so far.

1/5 - App Crashes Constantly - Risk of Losing Entire Money!
The Lemonn trading app is extremely unreliable. It crashes repeatedly while I'm trying to trade, often freezing mid-transaction.
This is not just frustrating - it's dangerous. Due to these crashes, I could easily lose my entire trading capital. One crash during a critical trade could wipe out everything.
A trading app must be stable and trustworthy.
Lemonn is neither. I've tried reinstalling and restarting my device, but the problem persists.
I'm seriously worried about my money being at risk because of this buggy app.
Do NOT trust Lemonn with your money until they fix these critical stability issues. Until then, I'm switching to a more reliable broker.

Good but still not mature for competition.
Features like multiple internal portfolio investments and tracking so that user can build multiple portfolio and track in same app, bonds & FD’s , RBI bills investment etc.

This app is best for option buying-
1-Fast execution of trades.
2-One can buy options before market opens.(In some other good apps,you will not have this feature,you can only buy options after 9:15)
3-One can trade more than 27 lots,order is automatically sliced by the system.
I love all this features of app

⚠️ Fraud Alert – Please Read Carefully ⚠️
Please be cautious—this broker app is a fraud and operates through third-party agents.
These agents convince you to join the platform and open a demat account. Without properly informing you, they activate a very expensive brokerage plan of ₹50 per lot. For example, if you buy 300 lots, they charge ₹15,000 as brokerage, excluding taxes.
The agents aggressively force you to buy more lots, completely ignoring your losses, because they receive around 70% incentive from the brokerage amount. Their intention is only to generate brokerage, not profits for the customer.
When you contact customer care, they simply blame you by saying you didn’t read the agreement. The agreement is conveniently sent early morning around 6 AM, when most people will not read it carefully. The very next day, the same agents push you to deposit more money, so they can continue exploiting you.
I personally lost ₹50,000 of my hard-earned money, without earning a single rupee and without even doing proper trading.
Do not blindly trust them just because they claim to be SEBI registered—there are still loopholes they misuse.
I am filing a cyber crime complaint against them and will also be approaching the police at their Andheri head office.
Please do not fall into this trap and share this message to protect others.

Can’t view stock buying history

Hi Parakh, To check the average buy price, please go to the Holdings section in your app. Tap on the specific stock you want to check, then scroll down, you’ll find the average buy price listed there. Also, when you buy stocks through MTF, the trade gets settled on the next working day, along with all applicable charges for that trade. Most poorly designed Share Trading App in India
Too many other design & functionality flaws. Strangely REFER option is on their home screen & they market other companies on their home screen.
Overall pathetic experience.

Save yourself the frustration—go for trusted alternatives like Groww or Angel One. These platforms provide better customer service, transparency, and reliability. Don’t fall prey to the false promises of the Lemonn app!

Two very much needed features
But need too very much needed features for mutual fund
- option to edit a sip in terms of amount value and date
- Nfo for mutual funds
