About

Lens tells you one number: what you can safely spend today. Not what you spent last month. Not a forecast. What is genuinely yours to spend right now, once your bills are covered and your goals are funded. It changes as you go, and it is the first thing you see. THE DAILY NUMBER You put in your income, your fixed bills and what you are saving for. Lens does the arithmetic. The number updates the moment you log a coffee, a train fare or a card payment. No spreadsheet, no guessing whether you are on track. Underneath it sits your runway: how many months your savings would cover at the rate you are actually spending. Plain division, not a projection. YOUR MONEY STAYS ON YOUR PHONE Your transactions, balances, goals and accounts live in a local database on your device. There is no Lens account, no cloud copy of your finances, and nothing to sell. Most apps in this category upload your transactions the moment you sign up. Lens does not. Some things do leave the phone, and here they are in full: anonymous crash reports, anonymous usage counts you can switch off in Settings, and, only if you use those features, what you ask the AI, the ticker symbols you search, and a daily exchange rate table. None of it carries your amounts, your balances, or anything you typed. LESS TYPING Photograph a receipt and Lens fills in the rest. Import a CSV from your bank, which is free on every tier, because getting your own data into Lens should never be something you pay for. Set your recurring bills once and they appear on their own, with reminders. On an iPhone running iOS 17.4 or later, with your cards connected in Apple Wallet, Lens can also read those transactions straight from Wallet's on-device store. No aggregator, no server, nothing leaving your phone. Around twelve months arrives on the first sync. Coverage is Apple's, not ours, so it depends on your bank and your country. MORE THAN A BUDGET Track investments and holdings alongside your cash, with optional live prices. Watch your net worth move. Keep an eye on credit card statement dates. Read your month back as a set of short reports rather than a wall of numbers. Widgets put the day's number on your home screen and lock screen, and a Live Activity keeps it there while you are out. Ask Siri, or run Lens from Shortcuts. WHAT IS INCLUDED FREE The daily number and your runway. Manual entry and CSV import. Three savings goals, three accounts, and three categories of your own on top of the defaults. Unlimited recurring bills with reminders. Budgets on up to five categories. The income and net worth reports. An insight a day. Net worth. Card Snapshot for statement dates. Light and dark. LENS PRO Unlimited goals, accounts, category budgets and custom categories. The full spending reports, with category breakdowns, comparisons, trends and earlier periods. The complete insights feed rather than one a day. CSV export. Receipt scanning, and Ask AI about your own spending in plain words. Bank sync from Apple Wallet where your iPhone and bank support it. Buy the lifetime option once and the price you paid is the price you keep, including Pro features that do not exist yet. WHEREVER YOU ARE Multi-currency, including GBP, JPY, EUR and USD, with zero-decimal currencies and local date formats handled properly rather than approximately. English and Japanese throughout, with more to follow. Privacy policy: https://edniroya.github.io/lens-pages/privacy.html Support: https://edniroya.github.io/lens-pages/support.html

What's New in Lens

1.6.1

August 24, 2026

- Settings all live in one place now. Tap your initials on Today: Privacy and Support moved in from More, so there is one place to look instead of two. - Reports is easier to reach, sitting with Goals, Accounts and Recurring instead of hiding in a list underneath them. - A clearer Pro screen: one tidy list of what you get, prices that line up, and the plan you picked shown on the button before you buy. - Lens now counts which screens get used, so we can see where people get stuck. Never your amounts, never anything you typed, and there is an off switch in Settings under Privacy. - Fixed: the last screen you were on could show for a moment before Face ID, and could appear in the app switcher. - Fixed: the Pro screen showed made-up prices when the store was slow to answer. - Fixed: several help articles pointed at the wrong screen, and the tier descriptions did not match what the app actually gives you.
