Lens Smudge Detection

This app can detect images taken with dirt or foreign objects on the lens. Dirt refers to anything covering the lens, such as fingerprints or raindrops, which can cause blurring or haze in images. This feature helps you find the best frames from a set of videos or images. The Lens Smudge Detection results display a confidence score from 0.0 to 1.0. This indicates the likelihood that there was dirt or a malfunction on the lens at the time of shooting. A confidence score of 1.0 means there is a very high probability that dirt or foreign objects were on the lens at the time of shooting. Running the app requires a device with A14 Bionic chips(iPhone 12) and later.
