Good app but needs more lens and format choices
This is a great app. And I’m sure they are on the way. But it needs more camera format, as well as lens choices. I’m on a show now were we are using Panavision Panaspeeds. They aren’t available in this app (yet). Hopefully soon. We are also shooting Arri Mini LF open gate 2:1. Which also isn’t an option in the app (yet). I was trying to get the DP and other Op onboard with it. But the lack of those things put them off for now. Hopefully there is an update soon. Great app with a lot of promise though.

Is this still being updated?
I love this app but it’s gone a year without updates now, including no support for ultra-wide cameras on the iPhone 11 and 12. Is it still being worked on?

Hi There! Just updating you again to let you know that as of version 1.4, all of the blackmagic cameras are supported, along with canon CN-E primes, and a generic set of lenses to form any set of focal lengths you like! ~Spenser
does not support iphone 11 super wide camera
the app is beautiful but when i switch to a wider lens (18 mm) the image is cropped with an arrow graphic filling the outer edges of the image. the iphone 11 camera covers that area but the app does not switch between cameras. this makes it basically useless.

Fast, intuitive and simple UI. Exactly what I was looking for, thanks for putting this together, it’s easily the best of this type of app to quickly find and communicate frames as a DP or Director
Best director’s finder yet
First of all, the App just works. That’s already better than most. Next, by integrating specific cameras, formats, and lenses, that means that I can make a really accurate judgement on what’s needed when I’m on the scout. One every photo taken, all the metadata is printed on the edges so that there’s no guessing after the fact and you spend much less time taking notes. So far, this is the best app out there for an iPhone director’s finder.

Accurate, Intuitive, awesome
I’ve been using this app for previewing focal lengths for the past month or so, and I’m super impressed.
It’s developers have done there research of various lens types and coverage of almost every professional format out there.
It’s obviously a tool created by someone who means to use it their self. And it shows with how quickly and easily you can get a reference up, save your selection of lenses and snap photos at those focal lengths.
I’ve been showing it to others who have been equally impressed.
