Lentit: Lent Item Tracker

Who has my drill? You lend out a drill, a book, a trailer. In that moment you are certain you will remember. Two months later you only know it is somewhere. Lentit is the note you actually take. Tap, type what went out, pick who has it, done — about ten seconds. When it comes back, one swipe closes it. That is the whole app. WHAT IT DOES • Record what you lent, to whom, and since when • Pick a person from your contacts, or just type a name • Add a photo when it helps you recognise the item • See everything that is out right now on one screen • Swipe to mark something returned — and swipe back if you were too quick • Look up what came back in the history SMALL ON PURPOSE Most apps in this corner of the store track money and belongings at the same time, want an account, and sell a subscription. Lentit records the things you own that are not with you right now. Nothing else. • No account, no sign-up • No server — your lending history never leaves your iPhone • No ads, no tracking, no analytics • Free, with no subscription and no in-app purchases • No categories, no inventory, no reports PRIVACY Lentit collects nothing and sends nothing. There is no networking code in the app at all. It asks for exactly one permission, and only at the moment you take a photo: the camera. Choosing a contact and picking an existing photo both run through system dialogs, so Lentit never needs access to your address book or your photo library. Everything works if you allow nothing. GOOD TO KNOW Lentit does not send reminders and does not settle debts. If you need due dates and money owed, another app will serve you better.
