Sensor irony
It’s incredibly ironic to place the menu where the iPhone sensor is. I’m not even able to select the correct location bc UX is ignored. And that says a lot about the app. Not to mention, it’s detecting magnetic material. Your watch will trigger the sensor regardless if it’s magnetic.

Works ok but the links on the sidebar are dead. Also what’s the unit of measurement? Is it gauss? When configuring all it says is a number
Won’t work
Installed on iPhone 11 but fails to launch. Removed and reinstalled twice but no luck .
Adding to sentiments
This is to calm anyone down panicking that their watch is magnetized. Lepsi will say that ANYTHING ferrous is magnetized. This includes but is not limited to: your bed frame, chair, pocketknife, keys, coat hanger, clothes rack, door handle, etc. I know because I checked all of these things. If it comes up as “magnetized” your watch could be magnetized or not. Maybe yes maybe no. This will have you demagnetizing over and over and over again to no avail. Just go get a compass and check the old fashioned way. It will be more accurate in conveying whether anything is wrong.

Apparently all my watches are magnetized
Anything metal I put next to this app says it’s magnetized. All my watches, house keys, the metal snap on my watch case. Useless.
Small improvements would make a big difference
As other reviews have said, it’s too sensitive. Or I should say, there’s nothing in the code to differentiate between magnetism that needs addressing and natural magnetism that exists in any ferrous object. Basically EVERY watch will show magnetized as other reviews have indicated. The best advice to make this app usable is to use it in the config mode - and if the reading from your watch is under 100 you’re probably good. Over 100 you might have an issue. Mine kept saying magnetized which didn’t make sense bc it kept good time, when I used in config mode, registered around 40-50.

It works, use creatively
The app works in that it lets you find where the sensor is on your device and how much magnetism it’s picking up. Like others have mentioned, it will pick up anything ferrrous so it’s not accurate when it tells you if something is magnetized.
I recommend leaving the app on the “configure” function and passing your watches over it. If the magnitude shown is under 100 you’re probably fine. Upwards 150, it’s probably magnetized.
My seamaster 300 LE showed “80” when passed over my phone and my planet ocean (that I suspected was magnetized/ why I got the app) registered “320”

Doesn’t work.
Any Watch I put on this says it’s magnetized when clearly they are not. Even watches that I’ve de-magnetized This app is junk.
Thinks Anything Made of Ferrous Metal is Magnetized
This app does not work. Every ferrous item I held up to the sensor, it told me was magnetized. Tested this theory after I demagnetized my watch multiple times and it kept telling me it was magnetized.
I’m actually impressed.
I downloaded this thinking that my automatic watch may be running fast due to it possibly being magnetized. It asks you to verify your phones ability by running a magnet above your phone. (Don’t be dumb and put it too close) I took the weakest magnet off my fridge (barely holds 1 coupon) and made an arc movement over the phone and it detected it immediately. Took the watch and held it over the phone and nothing was detected. So I saved myself the money of having to buy a demagnetizer. Watch just needs a tune.

Works like a CHARM!
This app definitely deserves a 5 Star rating. It is so sensitive that even if the watch falls under manufacturing parameters it will still pick up the magnetism exhibited by the timepieces. Easy to set up and configure, but once configured can be used to measure not only watches but also the places where the watches are kept. Need to make sure where you store the watches is not the source of any magnetism. RECOMMEND HIGHLY!

Definitely works
I just tested this with two Omega Speedmasters; one is magnetized and one is not. The non-magnetized watch does briefly say magnetism is detected if you place it very precisely, but the magnetized watch clearly shows magnetism detected when placed anywhere in the ballpark of the compass. The difference is very easy to recognize.

Useless
Despite the wonderfull reviews, and the ability to detect magnatism, this app is useless. Every single wristwatch and pocket watch i put beside the location if the sensor...this app claims is magnatized. Including ones that i just “demagnatized”... it is hyper sensitive to the extreme. Only telling you something is magnatized or not... so useless...

Confirmed working
I can confirm this works 100%. My Breitling was running fast and this app indicated a magnetization. I went to the watch store and had them demagnify the watch and the app is no longer detecting magnetization. I mean can’t get a more bulletproof test than that. 5 stars. I’m impressed.

Detector of ferrous metal, and maybe magnetized watches.
Firstly, the app works nicely for what it is. But it should be known that the compass chip in the iPhone will, like any compass, be affected by ANY ferrous metal. Whether that ferrous metal object is magnetized or not. So if the app tells you that your mechanical watch is "magnetized", you are more than likely getting attraction to a ferrous part (the strap springbar or clasp are likely culprits). If no strap, then the mainspring or small screws & parts may be enough to pull the compass, even if not magnetized. If you're demagnetizing over & over and still getting a "magnetized" reading, this is why. Perhaps watch the strength level, if it drops, you may have removed some magnetic contamination, but you'll always get "some" reading from clean steel, if present. All similar apps like this work this way, so not a problem, so long as you are aware.
