Waste of time
Spent 20 min trying to register on the app. No luck. Store experience is amazing. Digital experience is one of the worst I have ever experienced.
Scan, Pay & Go nice idea - poorly implimented
Very good concept, but unfortunately poorly implemented.
There is is insufficient error and status event handling between the app and the payment aggregator (Paygate) - not very robust.
Performed a checkout, payment went through - but app / backend failed to receive successful notification.
As a result - no barcode for checkout - and no history of the purchase.
At very least there should have been a history of the purchase - perhaps with an unknown payment status if there was an error.
I luckily had access to my email on my phone and could prove the payment in store so i could leave with my goods. Took some convincing of the cashier though...
