Letreo turns your iPhone into three stage tools: a real LED marquee, a show light and a teleprompter. Everything runs on the device, with no account, no ads and no internet. A REAL LED MARQUEE This is not scrolling text with a filter over it. Letreo draws a dot-matrix panel dot by dot at 120 Hz, and the panel's resolution changes with the font size, the way it does on a physical sign. Six letter styles; neon, gradient, rainbow, pulse and flicker effects; direction and speed however you like them. FULLSCREEN STAGE One tap and the marquee takes the screen in landscape, at maximum brightness, with the display held awake. Turn the iPhone, raise your arm. While you adjust things, the preview stays pinned at the top of the screen and reacts live. You set the sign by looking at the sign, not at a menu. TELEPROMPTER Paste your script, pick the reading speed and the font size, and open the stage. A reading line marks where you are. Mirror flips the text for teleprompter glass or a mirrored camera, and it is free. On stage, tap pauses, drag adjusts the speed and double tap exits. The app does not use the camera. SHOW MODE Your phone becomes a party light: static, blink, strobe, rainbow, breathe, and Beat, which listens to the music through the microphone and pulses along. Ready-made presets for White, Strobe, Rainbow, Beat, Breathe and Police. FLASH IN PHASE WITH THE SCREEN Pick the output: screen, flashlight, or both. The flashlight fires in the same phase as the screen, with a frequency ceiling and an integer divider, so the flash does not stall or drift from what you see. Beat has hysteresis, so it does not jitter when the music sits at the threshold. With Flash as the only output, the color control goes away: the LED is white. And it is the iPhone's physical flashlight strobing on its own while you keep working the controls, something a website open in a browser cannot do on iOS.
