About

Rehearse the talk you're dreading, before it counts. The roommate who never does the dishes. Asking your manager for a raise. The apology you owe a friend. A parent who keeps criticizing your choices. lets-talk lets you practice moments like these first, with an AI character who has a mood of their own and doesn't fold on the first try. ■ ROLE-PLAY: WATCH THE ROOM Pick a scene, or set up your own with a name, mood, and notes, and talk it through, one reply at a time. The vibe meter shows the heat rising or cooling with every message, and a coach note after each turn says what landed and what stung. When you're done, the session review gives you the coach's verdict: where it turned, why, and what to try next time. ■ WRITE AND ADVISE: GET THE WORDS RIGHT Write: pick a sticky moment, write what you'd actually say, and get it scored on four plain parts: what happened, how you feel, what you need, and a request the other person can say yes or no to. A calmer rewrite sits next to yours so you can compare. Advise: stuck on something they said? Paste the line, see how it might look from their side, and pick from a few reply drafts you could actually send. ■ FIELD NOTES: SHORT READS, NO AI Quick reads on why fights start, why one person chases while the other needs space, and how care lands. Field notes and Easy Write, where you pick a reply, work without AI. Built on Nonviolent Communication, a framework used in mediation. Scenes cover friends, family, coworkers, and partners. ■ YOUR WORDS, YOUR CALL Your drafts, role-plays, and progress stay on your device, and you can wipe them anytime in Settings. No sign-in needed. Role-play, Advise, and Hard Write are written by Claude, an AI model from Anthropic. Before anything you type leaves your device, lets-talk shows what is sent and where, and asks for your OK. Your text goes to Anthropic only after you allow it, and we do not store it on our servers. Every AI reply has a Report button if something looks wrong. You can try the coaching without an account, or connect your own Anthropic API key in Settings; it stays on your device. lets-talk is a practice tool for communication skills. It is not therapy or crisis support. Part of KENSAURUS — small apps, no sign-up wall. One optional account works in all of them.
