Just words, no phrases

All this does is lets you click on pictures that has Chinese characters and translation in your native language. After you click on them, it just shows your native language. What was the point? No pronunciation or anything else on my iPhone 8, but it did have audio on the iPad version. Be prepared for long ads in addition to the ones shown throughout the app. One pop up add came out before I even got to the first flash card.

Finally, why does this app have the word phrase in the title if there are no phrases? I wouldn’t have wasted my time with this if the description and screenshots were better.
