Get rid of the unskippable video ads
Great app. Putting an unskippable video ad before you open the app is ridiculous. Remove that ASAP or you will lose people

i loveeee this app!! i love movies and everything cinema. i really wish that they had black n white photos for actors, actresses, producers, directors etc when they pass away i personally think its a good honour, AND a pg rating on every movie bc i keep having to google them up

Video ads that obstruct the screen have already been a problem and now they force an ad to a terrible movie down your throat when you open it, oh yeah, and now they force you to watch a video in your face.

Opened my app to a full screen fifteen second pop up ad five minutes ago. You cannot be serious. ‘Skip ad’ bar like this is youtube. Are you serious? For a product that has spent so long cultivating a loyal audience and reputation the direction letterboxd has been going is incredibly disappointing and disheartening. Unbelievable.

Wasted a lot of time
Put a lot of thought into making lists, reviews and recalling things I have watched only for my letterboxd to randomly sign out. I don't remember my password or username because I made it all a long time ago, should've just stuck to logging my movies on my notes app

great, but could use tv ratings.
i love this app and i think it’s so amazing, but i would like to see the actual rating of the movie. like R, or TV-14, or PG-13. yk? bc as someone who doesn’t like to watch people have sex on screen, i’d like to know what i’m getting into before hand. and tags regarding that would be nice too. like #lotsofsex or #extremegore. these would also be helpful. but other than that, it’s a great app.

Bad account availability
This is the 2nd profile I have made since last year and for some reason this dumb app doesn’t let me sign into either of them. I kept my login info so it’s not me. I tried to verify and it’s “too late”. That’s ridiculous how can I not verify it now? Also I tried resetting the password and it still says “there’s a human error.” Like bruh it’s not my fault this app sucks. I’m glad I never spent my hard earned cash on this dog water of an app. I wanted to make another account but honestly Im afraid it’s gonna do the same thing. Like seriously can we not just have a working app??

Interface
Wtf happened to the interface? The homepage used to show all of the movies that people were currently invested in, now it’s infested with two separate ads that totally mess it up. Whoever made that decision sucks.
Erased all movie reviews
Once in a while this app will wipe ALL of my logged movies. Spent years logging them just for all of them to disappear. Very sad, happened to me twice!

You guys should add a feature where you can add who you watched the movie with, like friends on letterboxd etc
Recommendations
Please add a "recommend" option so you can recommend movies to moots that you don't see irl. Also add a "did not finish" option if you want to log a movie but couldn't get to finish it. These are my personal recommendations, I love you Letterboxd

I DON'T want your sex!
I am getting constant video ads and big blocks invading the reviews and home page, and it's always for the same movie, "I Want Your Sex". If I didn't know better, I'd be afraid there's a virus on my phone! If there was any intelligence in your advertising system, it would recognise that I've already logged that movie and therefore it is sensless to advertise it to me! You are wasting your advertising partner's money and making me hate opening the app! Do you want your users to hate your app? I promise with how awfully you have treated your loyal users in the last few years I will never re-subscribe to Pro. Letterboxd has now gone completely down the toilet.
