Love the latest update!
I played the newest version of this game today (4 June, 2026) & I just wanted to say thank you to the developers, cos it looks really good! I actually play the challenge games every single day & it kinda felt like a new experience when I went through the 8 different challenges today-especially with the layout changes to the scoreboard! It was fun to see the new layout changes!
& if I had to choose one ‘complaint’ - it is that I don’t think I can flip my device over to play in landscape mode anymore? So, that is a bit of a bummer! Considering that I did like that I could play in either screen orientation before… So, the fact that I can’t now - is gonna be a bit of a pain (like, when I am charging my iPad while I play…) but apart from that - I think it’s a pretty good update!
So, well done for improving a game that is fairly plain & simple! Lol I mean, I love this game! But the new features I saw today just made the whole thing feel a little bit more ‘exciting’ (for want of a better word) & that’s exactly why I’m here writing this review! Haha
Cos it’s a classic nerdy word & number game that is a little bit cheesy & if ya want it to be, it has a few competitive features that make it a little bit more interesting & I definitely think it was a better one today - than it was yesterday! Haha

Letter Selection
Love the game, thanks for your work. My one request would be to rebalance the probability of repeated letters—I often find I’m getting three or four of the same vowels in letters rounds, which makes it a bit more difficult to find long words. Would really appreciate if the probability of duplicate letters was decreased! Thanks!

Just got a new phone and transferred all apps over. However, for some reason, the game has completely reset on my new phone and I have lost all my progress! There’s no help option and no option to sign into Apple to restore my game play! Is there anyway round this please?
Good app
I really like the app, but it could do with some work. Suggestions/bugs:
(1) On recent versions of iOS, the locations of the buttons at the bottom of the screen mean that if you tap there repeatedly, it brings up Apple Intelligence and uses up time. Try tapping the backspace button 2 or 3 times in quick succession for example.
(2) some of the “wordmix” challenges are way too easy. They contain the answer in the hint itself!
(3) the randomization of the letters for “wordmix” and “conundrum” doesn’t seem sufficient. Often the answer is just sitting there in order.
(4) if you get to the correct answer for the wordmix, conundrum or numbers game, maybe it should just end the round there and then?
(5) can we allow the letters to be tapped on even while they are being presented (for wordmix / conundrum)? I often start tapping early because it’s obvious what the answer is even before the full set has been revealed. Then you lose time because the tap didn’t register, so the answer started at the second character and needs to be retyped.
(6) The multiplayer thing doesn’t seem to work: I joined a “queue” days ago but nobody ever seemed to match with me. Maybe not enough users?
(7) The “prematurely finish this round” button looks like an “I’m done with this answer” button and I often mistakenly end the round.
I basically never want to prematurely finish the round while I can still come up with something better in the time allowed, and I suspect the same is true for others.
(8) an absolutely killer feature would be to have a global multiplayer mode like the “Wordament” app (effectively Microsoft’s version of multiplayer Boggle), where there is always a challenge in progress for everyone to compete on simultaneously.
(9) I see little icons for music and sound effects, but I don’t hear any regardless of whether they’re on or off (on a recent iPhone)

Partie Chiffre à améliorer
Actuellement pour les chiffres, le calcul doit tenir sur une seule ligne (enchaînement de parenthèses). Manque la possibilité de faire des calculs intermédiaires. Les chiffres déjà utilisés disparaîtraient de la liste des chiffres disponibles et les calculs intermédiaires seraient présentés dans la liste des chiffres disponibles.

Move the home button
This game is a lot of fun similar to the tv show. The biggest issue i have is the ☑️ button in the numbers game turns into the 🏠 button as the time runs out, so that aa you get the answer at the last second you get booted from the game. Home button also overlaps the “consonant” which can also kick you from your current game.

Le jeu est super mais trop d’erreurs de définition. Par exemple, dégotant au lieu de dégoûtant, ce n’est vraiment pas la même chose quand on parle de quelqu’un qui suscite le dégoût. Désolé, je ne joue plus.
Addictive & frustrating
A very addictive game which quickly builds your skills in finding words from a jumble of letters in just 30 seconds. It is frustrating though that it repeatedly rejects words as not being in the OED when you can easily look them up and find them recorded in the Oxford English Dictionary online.
Good game but set up for righthanders
The screen layout is pretty suboptimal for us lefties. Otherwise a good game

It’s okay but sometimes words are not globally friendly. Only universally recognisable language is mathematics. It’s better to stick to watching YouTube videos of the show instead and play along.

Combo is fun
Letters and Numbers is great way to relax while challenging me to think quickly and carefully. I also like the Practice and Untimed features when I don’t feel like being pressured. I enjoy the flexibility provided by single games and the Combo challenge. Plus, there are no adverts.
Love this app, buuuut...
Changed my relationship with math (no small feat), *but* has a very annoying glitch. Originally wasn’t sure, but after playing a thousand practice rounds, am totally sure: many times when I press “submit” it tells me I did “no calculation”, even when I got it right. Soooo frustrating! I take great care to make sure I don’t press the wrong button, but it still does it. About once every twenty-or-so times. It wonks up my percentages. (Which I don’t really care about, still have 133%, but makes me wonder what it is *really*.) Still my fave to play and keep my skills sharp. If you haven’t watched the BBC show “8 out of 10 Cats Does Countdown”, do so. Funny, irreverent, and smart. (Pause it and play along!)
