There are many word games out there. LetterSwap combines the best of many of these. While the rules do not change, every day is different. It is straightforward to play. There are 2 speed versions and 2 go at your own pace versions each day. It is challenging, with a bit of a learning curve. With some patience and strong familiarity with the rules, it quickly becomes competitive daily fun.

I’m hooked. LetterSwap is the freshest, smartest word game I’ve played in ages. The concept is simple but so clever — make as many words as you can from a grid of letters, but you only get a limited number of swaps, so you have to think strategically. It’s like a puzzle and a word game had a brilliant baby.
There’s a timed mode for adrenaline junkies and an untimed mode when you want to relax. And I love how there’s a Daily Letter — if you use it in a word, you get bonus points (hello, leaderboard 👀). Plus, as you rack up points, you can unlock new features — it keeps the game exciting and gives you something to work toward.
The layout is clean, the gameplay is smooth, and it’s just hard enough to keep you coming back for “one more round.” Whether you’re competitive or just playing to unwind, this is a must-download. I’ve already got my friends playing too!
