About

It starts with an invitation. Invite your friends, plan it together, and keep what happened — the photos, the videos, the whole day. Letup is where a plan comes together and then stays together. Instead of a group chat here, a calendar there, and photos scattered across everyone's phones, each activity has one home. SEND AN INVITATION Pick a time and a place, add a photo, and invite the friends you want — it takes seconds. No "Maybe" button. Everyone answers yes or no, so you always know your headcount. Not everyone has the app yet? Share a link. They can open the invitation in a browser and join from there. PLAN IT TOGETHER Every activity gets its own chat room, so the details stay with the plan instead of scrolling away. Change the time or the place and everyone sees it. The calendar shows what you've joined and when your friends are free, so picking a time takes seconds instead of a day of messages. AN ASSISTANT THAT KNOWS YOUR PLANS Plan by chatting. Ask for an activity and it's created — and if it overlaps something you already said yes to, you hear about it first. Once a day, a briefing covers everything ahead: what's on, where, the weather, and what the group agreed. Pick the time it arrives, or turn it off. Nobody has to scroll back to remember what was decided. KEEP THE MEMORIES Photos and videos from an activity land in one shared album — everyone's, in one place, not just the three you remembered to save. Clips from the day are put together into a highlight video with music, automatically. The day doesn't disappear into your camera roll. SEE WHAT YOUR FRIENDS ARE UP TO Follow the people you actually spend time with. Their activities and clips show up in your feed, and you can react and comment on what they've been doing. Create groups for the friends you plan with often, so you don't rebuild the same invite list every time. YOUR SPACE, YOUR RULES Your activities, photos, and schedule are visible only to followers you've accepted. - Make your account private so new followers need your approval - Hide your schedule from specific followers - Block or report anyone, at any time - Delete your account from the app or from our website Finding friends through your contacts is off by default. It only happens if you turn it on. WORKS WHEN YOUR SIGNAL DOESN'T Letup keeps working on the subway and in the basement of that restaurant. Messages and photos you send while offline go out as soon as you're back. Letup is free to use. What's New in Letup

1.0.12

More control over who sees your schedule, and better trip planning. Your calendar - Choose what each person sees on your calendar: the title and city, just "busy", or nothing. Set it for people or circles, and for each activity when you create or accept it. - Choose who can see your followers and following lists. - Locking an activity now turns off every invite link you've already sent. Links to locked or ended activities show only the photo, title and status. Itinerary - Plans can be open-ended and can have an arrival place. See the route on a map, with how you're getting there and how long it takes. - An activity's own time and place now show as the first line of its itinerary. Repeating activities get an itinerary for each date. Home and the Assistant - Save your home in Settings and pick "Your home" when you create an activity. Ask the Assistant to plan something at your place. - Ask the Assistant for things to do near you or on a trip and get place cards with photos. Send them to a group to decide together. - Share your location from an answer to get nearby results. - Fewer "temporarily unavailable" replies. Also new - Activity Info: tools are reordered, pinned notices and to-dos show a pin, and the Active badge turns off when the deadline passes. Fixes - The map button opens the exact place you saved, not every location of a chain. - Finished events no longer come back in the calendar's mini bar. - Read receipts update live again in chats with more than 50 messages. - Creating an activity no longer says it failed when it worked. - "Activity updated" notifications arrive on iPhone again. - After you sign out, that account's notifications stop. - No more duplicate reminders for activities created shortly before they start.
