When you open the app and click the “i” information icon it literally says “the current version of this app (1.5.0) is compatible with firmware versions 2.43 to 2.69”
My helix jr is running firmware 2.43b and the app will not work with the gimbal. When you launch the app it detects the helix wifi and lets you enter password and it reads what firmware you have installed before prompting you that in fact the app won’t work with the firmware.
These gimbals are not cheap. There is no way to calibrate the gimbal with the app.

Convenient and easy to use
Very functional app that is super easy to understand and use. I love the “notch filter” feature that automatically eliminates buzzing.
Amazing free tool from Letus
We've had 3 Helixes with various cameras so far and the fine tune control Letus provides with the app makes the Helix even better. Changes we made eliminated motor buzzing and helped stabilize our rigs even more.
