I sent them an email about it but have not received a response as of July 11th. My “boops” are always expired before I can click on the notification. Half of the profiles appear to be bots. Lex is not the app it used to be
The only queer dating app caved to cis people and money
What else is there to say than the only dating app exclusive for queer people is now plagued with cis straight men, cis straight woman and bots.
Money keeps being the driver of everything in this world and the queer community is not profitable enough apparently. On top of that they offered me some freebies for a 5 start review so they get a well deserved 1 star review instead.

dead app, even deader devs
app has been developed to be as marketable as possible. now it’s inundated with bots, scammers, and people dangerous for the queer community. i was banned for no reason and havent heard back from my appeal in many months.
Fun app, improvements needed.
Good social app, could use some bug improvements. It would be nice to have the option to share photos, and groups having multiple chat threads to keep things organized. Maybe Discord or other app integrations?

i was banned for posting about seeking a roommate for housing and a person was trying to get me to send them money for an apartment application that they didn’t own. i got banned because they mass reported me and this app has done nothing to try and fix the wrongly ban even after i tried reaching out on social media and sending emails. so much for the ultimate lgbtq+ social app that has no support team i guess

Very good experience being on lex make you connect with people that are interested in something real , I hope the management could work a lil on the groups .

So the community is awesome, but the app is a disaster. Idk if they sold it to someone or what, but considering there are so many neurodivergent folks on here the constant bombardment with ‘pay for this’ ‘look at this’ ‘oooh colours look’

A scam account got me banned when I tried to warn other people and I have contacted support multiple times to get help for more than a month with with NO response

There are something’s I enjoy about this app. I enjoy that someone made an app that is just for the LGBTQ community. This app logs you out randomly. Give you notifications that you have unread messages. But when you read the messages the notification doesn’t go away. So if those issues can’t fixed, I’ll redownload app, until then I will not!

I loved being on Lex and my account was randomly suspended one day months ago. There has been no response at all to my appeal or messages asking why! I’m sure I did nothing wrong- I only use Lex to post about free events happening in the community and am so sad they will not answer my emails or appeal

Almost like a hookup app for lesbians and other fem individuals
This app used to be bangin’ many years back, but now when I log in, all I see is women who are desperate to eat each other out.

you get dead profiles constantly, very few swipes per day to even find people, and when you do find someone the profile was last active 3 years ago. i have gotten 1 message and it was from a cis guy :( (i've reached out to at least like 10-20 people at this point with ZERO responses)

I really love the concept and community vibe of Lex, but I honestly think the app would benefit much more from being free or extremely low cost (even $1/month/week).
Community-based apps only work when there’s enough active users and local engagement. For queer communities especially, user density and activity matter far more than monetization features. Once too many features are locked behind subscriptions, the app starts feeling quiet and inactive, which hurts the overall experience for everyone.
Lex has something unique and special culturally. I’d rather see it grow into a larger, thriving queer community platform with more active users than become limited by paywalls too early.

It’s ok, a nice app
It’s ok, the app is nice but like all dating apps those prices are ridiculous. Why pay more than Netflix for a service that works totally randomly and has zero guarantee of success. Monthly subscription for all dating apps should be less than streaming services.
