User reviews

So confused

I’m won’t leave a start review because maybe I’m doing something wrong.

I’m using this app for my dyslexic daughter to practice sight words

When we go to reading practice for Dolch words why is the word not read out loud first?

The word of the day, there is also no sound function and the sound function works fine in the read to me tutorial.

I can’t seem to find a truly comprehensive app for dyslexic children

My child

I homeschool my daughter and she has been struggling with reading and writing. I am getting her tested for dyslexia but I’ve been working with her using dyslexic methods and it seems to help. As a parent, it’s heartbreaking to see your child struggle and get upset over misreading words that she knows. The app is a gift! I about cried when I saw it’s only roughly $6 a year to subscribe for the premium features. Honestly, as a parent I would have spent so much more if it meant that it helped my daughter was able to read have more confidence while reading. Thank you!

Response from developer

I’m so glad to hear Lexico is helping!

Purchased premium and still locked

I purchased the premium package and it did not unlock the premium features. Trying to contact developer. Anyone else have had this problem?

Response from developer

Hi, there. If you could contact me at https://www.lexico.app/contact, we can start troubleshooting the issue immediately. In the mean time, force-closing the app and restarting it might resolve the issue.

Truly life-changing!

Genuinely grateful to the developer for this invaluable tool. This is not a detailed review of how well the app functions, but rather, a testament to the app’s empowering ability. For the first time in my adult life, I feel empowered to start reading for what will be my last semester in grad school. College would have taken me the “normal” amount of time, had I found and used this app sooner. Nonetheless, I’m excited to discover a world where books and simple reading tasks are no longer daunting work.

Great app for dyslexia support

This app helps our son read school instructions and isolate words he’s unsure of or struggling with - it’s awesome seeing him figure out a word he probably wouldn’t have gotten.
