About

Lexiklar is a fully offline German dictionary designed for learners up to B2 level. Unlike basic dictionaries, Lexiklar gives you the grammar depth you need to actually use German correctly. WHAT MAKES IT DIFFERENT Every word entry includes the grammar information that learners constantly look up but rarely find in one place: - Noun genders with articles (der/die/das) and full declension tables across all four cases - Complete verb conjugations: present, past, subjunctive, imperative — plus separable verb handling - Adjective declension in strong, weak, and mixed forms - Gender rules that help you predict whether a noun is masculine, feminine, or neuter FEATURES - Works completely offline — no internet connection ever required - Search in German or English with instant results - Covers the most common 3,500+ German words (A1 to B2) - Real example sentences with translations - IPA pronunciation for every entry - Frequency ranking so you can prioritize high-value vocabulary - Phrase and expression discovery from your search history - False-friend warnings — know when a German word looks familiar but means something unexpected - Light and dark mode with system sync - Clean, distraction-free interface — no ads, no accounts, no tracking BUILT FOR LEARNERS Lexiklar started as a personal project during a German learning journey — born out of frustration with dictionaries that show you what a word means but not how to use it. Looking up der/die/das, case endings, and verb conjugations meant jumping between multiple sources. Lexiklar brings it all into one place. Every entry is sourced from German Wiktionary (CC BY-SA) and covers the vocabulary that matters most for reaching conversational fluency. FREE AND PRIVATE Lexiklar collects no data, requires no account, and contains no ads. Your search history and favorites stay on your device. Dictionary data updates are optional and delivered over-the-air.
