“New App” that doesn’t even notify

This app was pushed as their new application however it’s missing basic features and is missing other features that would benefit the con goer.

Missing notifications for rescheduled events. We decided to trust this application after allowing notifications and adding events but it was rescheduled and then did not notify us while the app showed the new time slot. This led us to miss a panel we were looking forward too. To put the icing on the cake it then also notified us about the old time when it was going to start. I don’t understand how this could be missed.

The map is also useless outside of just telling you where the vendors will be. The map should give us the option to search where specific vendors are at. You already have this on your site - this would assist in later con visits to find a specific vendor we are looking for.

The app also just seems primitive for con applications - I would like to see a better UI and the calendar being easier to filter and have better notifications.

Notifications are halfway there

Would give it a 5/5 if the app actually gave notifications for when panels get rescheduled. Missed a panel I wanted to go to because it was moved up 3 hours (and maybe that’s on me for not constantly checking the app during the convention ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ ) but didn’t receive a notification for the panel’s rescheduled start time of 4pm, only got a notification for the original scheduled time several hours later. Even just a “hey check out the schedule again because an event you favorited got changed” would be helpful.

Who did this? You're amazing!

I didn't know how much I needed this in my life, but I'm grateful it exists! Each year I've fussily fumbled with the giant newspaper schedule as I realized I missed a panel or needed to scramble across the convention center to make it in time---no more! This app allows you to build your own schedule from the photo ops and panels and choose when to set a reminder to get in line. It also lists guests, artists, and vendors so you can make a shopping list of who to visit. It *could* use more info about individual entries, but that's trivial to how useful the schedule feature is. I'm in love. Bravo LCTC.
