I hate that the app does NOT remember me. PLEASE, PLEASE just make it so I can reserve a book without digging out my library card! Slightly annoyed that it always takes me to Goodreads. If I want Goodreads I’ll go there on my own.

I love the Lexington library so much, but this app is awful. Never remembers you, so you have to sign in every time you use it. And about 50% of the time, it completely crashes when you enter your library card number.
Remember me!
This is a good app but it drives me crazy that I have to log in every time I use it. Please fix the “remember me” button and/or enable Touch ID for logging in.
Awful app
I’m a heavy library user and I’m all for incorporating the newest technologies to keep the institution fresh and modern. But good grief this app is awful. It works 50% of the time, the other 50% I get the blank screen or just the words but none of the graphics. And each and every time I want to check my account or place a hold I have to re-enter my credentials. The “remember me” option doesn’t work. Followed a staff suggestion to delete and re-download the app to fix this last issue, but it still didn’t work. Awful app!

Lots of glitches
Welp. I do appreciate the convenience of managing my account on the go. I like placing holds and renewing items from my phone. I would like it if I could click “remember me” on the login screen, and it would actually remember me. It’s irritating to enter my credentials anew every time. I would like it if I could click “cancel hold” to cancel a hold on an item. Right now, it seems to be broken. I would be a lot happier with the app if its features functioned.

Poor in every respect
This app is useless. It gives you no ability to browse. One section overflows into another. A waste of time.. if you want to see a user friendly app look at the Jessamine County Library app

Every time this app is updated it gets worse!! This new update has made the app even glitchier and not user friendly at all. It seems to always default to the website, doesn’t include new book lists or categories of books to browse. The search option only helps if you already know the exact spelling of the book title or author. The first app the library had was much better than the last app and especially this app. My suggestion - get a high school coding class to develop a library app - or even have an app development contest for high schools across Fayette County. I love the Lexington Public Library and I’m very sad that this app is not reflective of the great programming etc that goes on within the library system.

App never remembers me
This iPhone app is slightly better than the previous version for searching, but unfortunately, every time I launch it, I must enter my card and PIN to authenticate. “Remember me” check box does nothing.
Please update the app so that if I must authenticate I can use my fingerprint, or better, have the app actually remember my login.

Stopped working
Getting white screen on the latest version now. Old version used to work ok. Seems it needs an update badly right now
Useless and Frustrating
I had been using the Lexington, KY public library app for over years. That app was replaced by this one, and my library use has plummeted because this app almost never works. Most of the time, it just freezes at the “white screen” stage. Sometimes it loads the main page, then crashes when I attempt to search the catalog. This app is a joke. When I really need to search the library, I use a web browser. Most of the time, I just give up and move on.

New App is Awful!
I have repeatedly tried to log in and cannot. I can’t even do it from Safari on my iPhone. I’ve changed my password as well to make sure and it still won’t log in. How am I supposed to be able to look at my account or reserve books in the catalog if it’s impossible to get into my account? The remember my log in information does not work either. I never had any issues with the old app.

Must try to log on many times to get on site. Some days you cannot do it at all. Does not remember login info. Sorry app.
Just doesn’t work
Tried repeatedly, just doesn’t work, can’t ever get logged in. Thank heavens the “old one” still works fine. Just dump the new one.

Makes you log in every time you want to use it. Has a “remember me” check box but doesn’t work. If you could stay logged in it’s a nice app.
Horrible “upgrade”
This new app is terrible! You cant do half of what you could on the old app. I used to check out my books on the old app, this one doesn't have that feature. Whats worse, 98 percent of the time i just get a blank white screen and nothing loads up, neither On my 2018 ipad or iphone 6. The old app was a lot better. Please fix this buggy app. And put the old features back in. Thanks.
