So far umm not so good
So, I love the app when it worked. But that only functioned until I updated my knob and base and now the app won’t connect to my phone anymore.
The good : app design is nice, support chat is awesome. Nice to have direct contact with support
When the app functioned and I could see the information on the screen it looked useful.
The ability to pair all of the LF audio devices to it is going to be awesome as more release.
THe OTA updates built into the devices and synchronized through the app is also next level I can’t wait to see the future of this app.
THE BAD :
Being able to see your voltage and the signal wave is awesome but that only lasted for 3 minutes until I realized that my knob and base were out of date. Once I updated the firmware the knob and base worked fine everything functions with those but they will not connect to the app anymore.
Literally this the only thing I could find I didn’t like well except for the layout after you pair and see the items I am not sure I like how you traverse through the app.
There needs to be a delete device button so that if a device isn’t connecting or responding you can just delete it and pair it again.
Now onto the one thing that I truly believe LF needs to put into this app.
A car play widget that shows the voltage and signal wave and temps and such. A car play full app or a widget. The reason I say this is. For example my car I cannot mount your little circle display there is no where to honestly put it in my Audi. I also cannot mount my phone in front of me just isn’t a good place for it. Then you have the display on the knob. If you wear any kind of polarized sun glasses you can’t see the screen on the knob. So for people like me I have to hold the knob in my hand and look under my sunglasses to see what I’m doing. And it’s illegal to drive with your phone in your hand here where I live. So the app is only good if I’m sitting still which sucks. So please make something that can display on car play and android auto this would be so sick and something that nobody else does. Please please please
